Ahh glad that hyness was actually saved and got a happy ending with his revived generals... Kirby has learned that there are souls out there that can be returned (sorry sectonia and haltmann)
About a week or so before the update released I had slight hopes of us maybe getting a happy ending with hyness surviving... It's not like the whole ending itself already made me insane enough by revealing Hyness and the generals to be Friends... *FOR WHICH I WAITED 9 M O N T H S TO HAPPEN WHILE NOONE BELIEVED ME*
You know I had dreamed of seeing classic Kirby bosses reimagined using assets from their corresponding dream friend and seeing Marx show up on stage and start teleporting around honestly gave me such a sense of conclusion like this was the sign that everything underwhelming about star allies had truly been undone in this update.
I love the way the ending theme from Dreamland transitions to the main theme of Star Allies, almost like they have always been apart of the same song and with the Star Allies theme finally completing it and putting it all together much like how the ending to the game fits every piece of Kirby history together. It’s just a perfect and wholesome way to finish this “phase” of the Kirby series.
Blizzaria is best Yo-kai I’m disappointed they didn’t add that boss fight to Soul Melter EX. They reused the Dedede and Meta Knight fights from the main game, but they have a completely new boss fight just for the credits and nowhere else? It feels odd. Still cool that it was there at all though

kumazaki shinya mentioned intending star allies as an anthology title of sorts, of kirby’s history - the “kumazaki era” of modern kirby games (rtdl - sa) in particular, before moving onto “the next phase of the franchise” or something along those lines
@@masonjones7777 Indeed. It seems like they wasted the chance to make that fight mainstream-- such as putting it into Soul Melter EX as a boss exclusive to that mode, or putting it into the Mage Sisters' Guest Star run, instead of just filling a room with enemies and calling it good as a replacement for their boss fights.
Truly the happiest curtain call ever in all of human past and future history. There will never be a curtain call as happy as this. I may also mention that this is the best credits music I’ve heard, even though it’s simply a medley highlighting Kirby’s past adventures, as he pulls his former enemies closer than anyone would, and then embarks on a new journey all on his own.
God, this Staff Roll theme is beautiful. A perfect finale to what is essentially part two to the main story of Kirby Star Allies, I say! Also, it's nice to see that everyone got a happy ending this time 'round. Not just the Mage-Sisters, but Hyness too! And perhaps even Void...
Easily one of the best melodies I've heard used for an ending theme. I especially love 0:54, where PR's credits theme kicks in. After traveling around Dream Land, scouring Planet Popstar, infiltrating Jambastion, soaring through Far-Flung Starlight Heroes, and through dimensions, this is easily one of the best tunes they could reward us with. Truly The Happiest Curtain Call.

MarioSonic64 Oh, of course they wouldn’t need the series. But it is the end of 2D Kirby it seems (for a while at least!). It’s weird, I’ve only played Superstar Ultra, Superstar, Star Allies, and Epic Yarn, yet I get emotional seeing all the other stuff from past titles... I guess I’ve gotten close to these games and characters in several other ways!
The end of an era, or so it feels, and how fitting that some of the music from the game that fully established my love of the kirby franchise be here, it gives me such immense nostalgia, even if its only a small portion of it, but its a celebration of every game we've been through on this journey towards the great void termina, so with the happiest curtain call upon us, let us once more anticipate our great return to dreamland.
I beat this mode recently, and I didn't remember that you only need 100 Friend Hearts to be collected to get the good ending, I thought it was like Kirby 64, and you needed all 120! I missed 3 Friend Hearts, and I couldn't retry them because the dimensions dissapear, so when I went into the final boss, I thought I didn't have enough, I saw the info box saying "You collected 100 Friend Hearts! This is changing the outcome!" I didn't beleive it, instead I just scoffed and went on. But after beating the Three Mage Sisters, the game didn't move on immediatly, and when the giant Friend Heart appeared, I was shook. After befriending the Three Mage Sisters the info box appeared saying "The Friend Hearts have brought about a miracle!" and this time, I felt the same way.
