It's crazy how just a simple zone mission track can be so so so good. It's crazy to say but it's almost like it puts you in the mindset of some of these 6 street vets/gangers. It's like them much like everyone is tired of the corps having the world under their heel and these vets have no choice but to exercise the 2nd amendment and take care of themselves. Like it has that old tough bootstraps sounding american rock feel to it that imo matches the 6 street feel and aesthetic. The world and lore and def the music of cyberpunk make it so incredibly immersive.
It even gets the feel of them turning into degenerate gangoons, just like any other gang they exploit the weak. Goes to show that the corpo world can and will crush and all ideology you may hold
My second favourite gang combat theme after Valentino's (Play it Safe has its own category ;)) - probably why I get myself in trouble around Santo Domingo more than I should 🙈

When you illegaly get to the single blue mark on the map for the first time having low level and hard difficulty hearing new sound, you realize something really-real menacing is near. The beginning of the track reminded me OST from the last mission in Codename 47 and Silent Assassin mission in St. Petersburg. 6th Street Combat OST isn't about the 6th Street Gang at all. The song does not reflect them. This OST incite fear to the hearts of 6th Street Gang. Cuz they never know when one of the gang members may get inflicted by Contagion and affect the entire gang. No one knows who is the person responsible. Few survivors have claim that person would "talk to themselves" and even heard some curse words like "Fuckin hell, Johnny". But they can't confirm who.... There were reports of a merc known as V have been seen roaming between San Rancho and 6th Street turf. Gang have tempted to question that lesser known mercenary, but they feel safer not to....
because some war veterans are fucked in the head beyond belief, combine that with military training and combat experience and you get some scary ass fuckin dudes
