Why wouldn't it have been based on real events? Why would Terry have invented such a messed up story? Seems people didn't want to face the truth or couldn't believe that rape happens to boys as well as girls.
@@sunny70299 when I said real events even at the time I never gave it a thought that this was about himself. I had the album when I was 15/16 ish back in 1984 that kind of thing was something I knew nothing about when I was that age
@namph72 I think if a woman wrote this song no one would have doubted she was telling her own story and it's very sad that it took until 2019 before people listened to Terry when he had been bravely speaking out about being a survivor for years.
