Glad you think so!
I wonder if there is a way to use the t-test in order to translate all of the speicified data from specific stocks price movements. In order to find the probability of the population of price movement based on a 5% margin of error.
thanx
You're welcome!
How do you get around if the t-test were to be negative? What would the excel computations be?
Great tutorial. Two things though: I noticed you used the standard deviation of the population, instead of the sample . Also your last comment states that the p value is less than the alpha being 0.05 instead of stating that it is 0.025 in the two tailed situation. Otherwise very clear
I immediately noticed this and wondered how many students became frustrated as they calculated population instead of samples
How can I calculate hypothesized mean?
How did hypothesis mean was calculated
Where does the 66.5 for the national average come from?? im just supposed to know that?
same doubt. how can i find my value for hypothesis mean.?
the t-statistic comes up negative and i cannot get a p value! what to do? take the absolute value of t-statistic?
it says something else now...not the tails it says true or false
why cant they make a command for this?! thank you btw
Help! My answer is coming up in standard form, how do I change it? :(
Hi Lewis,
What do you mean by standard form? So you cannot see a p value?
Where is the first part of solving this problem, I guess the this is not for beginners. Thank bye.
