Paper Shredder on Wheels

- My mom was getting rid of an old paper shredder. I decided to have a look at it to see if there was anything creative I could do with it before it got passed on. I sat on the front porch toying with different ideas in my head. I finally arrived at the idea of attaching wheels to it and having it pull itself along by its insatiable appetite.
I built some wooden supports to attach wheels onto the body of the machine, painted them black, did some test runs in the kitchen, and then finally shot a short film of the spectacle.

I would say this is an art piece honestly, the description "having it pull itself along by its insatiable appetite" really made me think and I started to interpret as though this paper shredder can also represent humans gluttony (constantly eating with no benefit) with the paper coming out looking like intestines etc. Another interpretation could be if it was shredding a piece of literature it could represent the hunger for knowledge, as it would be eating the information up. just me though idk
Ha ha. I love the deep takes on this. It seems natural to compare this to humanity: Constantly consuming, and leaving a wake of destruction.
