Not sure about international cosplayers, but from my own experience (and my cosplayer friends') cosplayers tend to be pretty helpful and supportive of anyone doing cosplay, so I'm sure you were all good 👌

I actually was there at the cosplay event as Yae Miko! It was really fun, super cool merchandise but given my wig was so heavy and thick I sweated like a lot. But in the end it was enjoyable

I'm legitimately so late but I'm super glad you cosplayed as Layla. She's a personal comfort character and I kin her, like she's way too relatable(sleep deprived college/university student).
Plus it's just nice to see others that like her, feels validating as a nonbinary person who is into cosplay but has never done a female character before. Maybe Layla will be my first!!
