      It's nice to have the right players in the locker room. Where sportsmanship and respect mean something. Truly impressive especially with how the season has gone

    For anyone who has suffered ankle/knee injuries you know how incredibly difficult it is to pull this off. Good thing modern medicine has come a long way and he has access to the best of the best.

      I had ACL and meniscus surgery almost 2 years ago and I still feel like it hasn’t fully healed yet. But that’s what my doctor told me, no matter what your knee is never going to be the same

      Brap Nation my friend got his fixed by and Olympic surgeon in bc and seemed to heal well. But luck of the draw I guess.

      I’m from Ontario and got mine done in Manitoba. They used part of my hamstring to repair the muscles and i just can’t seem to get my hamstring back up to 100%. It sucks but at least it’s over

      absolutely couldn't agree with you more on this one. the fact he recovered so quick from something people complain about all there life about a bad accident is truly unbelievable. The amount of dedication, motivation and inspiration it takes for Connor McDavid to be what he is baffles me. Congrats to you Sir McDavid 💥🤯

    So much respect for mcdavid. He is my favorite player and human being. So humble and shows so much respect towards everyone. As an edmontonian I am so honored to be watching this guy play for the oilers and to see him do so much for the city of edmonton. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, I know it's been a rough road here in edmonton, but know with you leading the oilers this organization is gonna succeed. Thank you McDavid 👍 GO OILERS GO

      lol you didn't watch the start of the season, Zibanejad was dominating at first but a week or 2 aftewards Mcdavid and Draisaitl lead the league in points.

      CANADIAN BONG RIPPER Zibanejad “dominated” for 2 games getting 4 points in each then had 4 total over his next 10. But yeah McD and Drai have been pretty consistent all year. :)

    You watch this kid, I repeat, KID, playing this 2019-20 season, it's like this injury didn't happen. Like you forgot about it. Props to the medical staff affiliated with the Oilers, and more props to McDavid for not wanting to throw in the towel. It's a thrill to watch him every time he's out on the ice.

    As a flames fan, all I’ll say is I was very happy to see him come back and play the game the same way he did before. He could have been timid and changed as a player, but that boy still flys like nobody were gunna watch again.

    The best hockey player i have ever seen in terms of skills and talent. Wish him and his team the best. It is so hard to be a fan of nhl and not see him in the post season

    I recently had surgery on my torn ACL and meniscus. Seeing this short vid is nothing of inspiring to watch. I was told 10-12 months of recovery and this makes me want to go to the gym and continue to push forward

      It isn't just you. McDavid camp wanted to keep it closed. Had he taken the surgery option, he'd need bolts in his knee and fundamentally changing the way his knee works. Can you imagine the panic caused by everyone if they learned that 97 may never have the same speed again? He didn't need that pressure

    And he's even faster this year, clocked at 44 kmph with the puck. His third year he was clocked at 41 kmph with the puck that was the fastest ever.
    How he's gone beyond that is INSANE. NOT EVEN in his PRIME yet too. Wow

    I think it's neat to see that even with the heated rivalry between the two teams, both Smith and Neal both gave McDavid a tap when he got up. Now they play on the same team.

    My brother & I have played with some amazing talent including Patrick Kane when he was 16 & 17 years old. We have never seen a player like Connor Mcdavid. His acceleration and speed with the puck is better than any NHL player to ever touch the game. Ever. It’s surreal to even understand how a 6’1 190 pound guy can move like that.

    I had first overall pick in fantasy and didn't take him (I took Kucherov instead) because I thought he would have a slow recovery and take time to get back to speed. One thing I've learned is never doubt Mcdavid

    So I wonder what the people who gave this video a thumbs down were thinking??? They must root for another team. However, a hockey fan roots for good hockey regardless of their team allegiance.     Even though I dislike McDavid because he plays for our biggest rival, I really do respect and admire his dedication to be the absolute best. This must've been the hardest choice for Connor to make in his entire life and I can't imagine what he went through. He comes back just as good if not better and I can't believe someone is as good at hockey as he is. I really hope he stays healthy for the rest of career because it would be a shame to miss out on a talent like that
