Mark h & Joe h absolutely changed, strengthened & reinforced my recovery. I listened to them non-stop throughout the pandemic & im still listening to them. I listen to them in addition too (never instead of) along with working the 12 steps as outlined in the BB OF AA. Mad dogs & BB thumpers are my heroes!!! So grateful their experience in AA is recorded 💓 💖

I fought this ..I was 16 in 1996 . Went to an in patient treatment center when I was 17 . Still remember my group leader tell me I would look back and think I wish I would have taken this more seriously to really listen .because if we made it to our late 30s . When our disease reaches a point where we finally surrender and admit we are powerless.... I know you think you do .. but you dont .and I know this because I'm the same .. please hear me . And its 2020 . And im finally admitting im powerless I can stay sober 2 months 9 months. 12 months . But I allways hated being sober . My problems come back when I stop . It was only a matter of time before I wanted the comfort the feeling of alcohol. Man when I quit for a while ... when i broke . When I drank . I felt complete. I remembered. Oh my god this is why I do this . And i can function for a while but eventually. Alcohol leads to dope and it comes of the rails . Every time. I am helpless I camts help but want more. ...

Have you tried NA or HA or working with a sponsor who is an addict? You said it turns to dope every time.
