    • @Bbonno
      @Bbonno 3 года назад +2

      @@brucepad1019 I think that clay pan is a low spot in that valley, and the level will have to rise several meters before it can go to the next area. The valley is big, so that might take a while (weeks?).
      So I don't think it would be that much further without the dam. I believe they mostly built them to test the concept anyway. Test successful.

    Watching mlb's time lapse video of the volcano (ruclips.net/video/wmn6hDzBF5U/видео.html) demonstrates what is going on up there. Watch how the "exit spout" keeps rising, slowly gaining altitude with each eruption. By the end of the video, you see that this overflow area is almost at the same level as the rest of the volcano's peaks. At some point, the lava is going to start rushing out from all angles, not just this one spot as it has done from the beginning. When it does, possibly in the next day or three, there is no telling what will happen to the Natthagi Valley lava field. I am suspicious of the volcano's wall strength, that eventually one of the sides is going to completely collapse, at which point all hell breaks loose.

    • @veramae4098
      @veramae4098 3 года назад
