What game will you get rid of to add this one to your collection? It would be very interesting to hear you do a segment at the end of the year that tells which games you added to your collection in 2014 and which games you got rid of in 2014 in order to make room for them, and why.
Thank god I had the honor to be the first overall person picking this one up at Essen..really glad I immediately went there. The game is simply amazing and I would have cried not getting it. *sigh of relief*
I really like the mechanic that allows you to use leftover gems at the end of the game. They don't translate directly into points, the way it works in some games, but they still give you the ability to bolster your position a bit during scoring. Very cool!
Great review! I already knew Hobby World from Berserk which is another game with stunning artwork but that hardly comes into play. After this review I'll probably take guarantee Viceroy into my collection too as it seems to be a very well designed game. Thank you and keep up with the amazing work!
Hey, I might perhaps be imagining things, but it seems to me that in the last couple of your videos, Eric's voice recording at the end is of lowered quality - you might want to look into that.

Lovely Review, he makes them the best. Thanks Tom
I really need that shirt. It's amazing. Where, oh where did you get it?!?!
The gavel addition was a great idea.

Yeah, it is kind of loud and grainy. Mono, perhaps?
It seems to me it's more like a post processing thing and I'm not sure it's not deliberate but i do not like it
TyphoidBryan
What does "mono" have to do with the quality of the sound?
Tom - where did you get that shirt?
Wow, great review Tom, talk about a timely video!
Awesome shirt! So, this looks a lot like 7 Wonders and Among the stars. Would you compare it to them or is it definitely it's own game?
Just got this one in the mail. Played a quick round over lunch. Looks great!
Thanks for you review Tom. I decided to skip on Splendor, but I'll be picking this up via Kickstarter.
Did I just watch the video with the first Gavel hit? Awesome!
Really glad I backed the kickstarter early! So psyched to get this!
I just backed it on kickstarter. Thanks Tom.
I wonder if they'll make a Marvel version of this game where you fight over the Infinity Stones?
wat
No.
Reminds more of Among The Stars, than 7 Wonders. Though it is not so much a drafting, but an auction for cards.
As a colorblind person, this looks unplayable :(
They are working on it at kickstarter,at will do it
They fixed that.
Oh, god, who agve Tom a gavel?
The cards look awesome but the tokens look terrible! Do we really need that much cheap shit for a small card game?
