Miss Lucy did such a good job she just sets their as dad talks about her, i think she might need a bigger chair lol she is such a sweetheart thank you for all the tips take care ...stay safe...
I fell in love with Lucy while waiting for my German Shepherd puppy Ruthie to come home. She's 10 weeks and well on her way to being as awesome as Lucy 🥰 Your videos have been a great learning tool, keep them coming!
Great video and excellent tips! Crate training is honestly the best way to potty train and having your puppy work for their food from the beginning makes for fast progress in training 💜✌🏼
I have an 8 month old western show line GSD. Those first 3 months really are crucial and we got all of the basic training done. However, I learned the hard way that there is some really bad training recommendations that aren't meant for every pup. A breeder recommended pinning the dog down by the back of it's neck whenever he did something wrong, like biting us. We did this early on and I think it slightly scarred him. He just doesn't trust when you go to pet him and will snap at your hand. I've been spending months trying to undo that and slowly improved his experience when I reach over the pet his head.
Great facts and shows how intelligent you are, it’s no surprise Luce is so amazing, your very smart and a well deserved GSD owner. Lovely to witness, she’s so beautiful 🐾🐾🐾💗
Greman shepherds are the most beautiful and sweet and cute and caring and loving and smart and intelligent and loyal dogs ever and I honestly love them so much
Nicely said. Thank you for encouraging people to actually train and make an effort with their GSDs. So many people think a puppy comes already pretrained or has a magical button that can pressed and voila well behaved dog. My pup is 1 year old now and J have put in a ton of work with him. The other day a strange lady could not stop complementing me on how well behaved and obedient he is. But I still have a long way to go in his training to get him to the high levels of obedience where I eventually want him. But it is so much fun working with him and training him so I really do not mind. Greetings from South Africa from myself and my boy Lycan my little WereWolf Sheppie.
Part of the craze, I guess. Just picked up Gunter, new WL GSD pup! He’s a gem in the making (of course). Love the content, including the disclaimer...I mean, who would take advice from someone who just lives the dream every day!? Good stuff, Lucy and Dad!
I just..ive seen you grow from 1k and I love your videos they are always helpful and you always put so much work into them! Definitely one of my favourite RUclipsrs
Thanks for posting. I get my GSP in two weeks (we are in Toronto, Canada) and your videos are very inspiring and love the methods!!! I used to live in Sydney years ago for work so you are much envied having incredible places to play and teach her in the beaches, eastern suburbs and glorious weather of NSW!!
Awesome video. I wished this type of training was around when I had my puppy. They did things different then. Thank you for the info. Lucy is such a beautiful dog! 💜
@@itssashlynnnn217 uh i just got my puppy today and i also have a yorkie puppy who is 8 weeks old (moms dog) and my yorkie is actually the more aggresive one

I took my GS puppies to Poop only in the bushes. To this Day they will not Poop on the grass, sidewalk, driveway. They hold it until they are on dirt. They have East Germany working bloodline, never Poop in the house. Knew their name, sit stay, No food possession in three days. Meal time was training and rule time such as which rooms they were allowed in and stay off thee furniture. Lots of Good advice in this video.

Thank you so much for these wonderful videos! You are a wealth of knowledge. Our GSD puppy will be with us in 6 weeks. I am a bit nervous but very excited! Hubby and I are considering crate training, so love your tips on this. I was hoping you could answer a question - how long did you use a crate for? Thank you for your time, Cathy.
CRATE TIPS: Once you've established the initial good feeling toward the crate, try to minimise the time they spend in the crate in a bad frame of mind. Essesntially, if they spend more time being afraid or anxious than they do being relaxed, you're going backwards in training.
Thanks for the info. My GSD is now 5 months old fully potty, create, obedient(sit, shake hands, stay) but the problem that I am facing is that she barks a lot on people who are not our family members and even starts chasing them so I have to pull her leash. Please make a video on bark training / socialisation thanks

Any updates on revealing Lucy's breeder? Finding a breeder is getting really hard in Melbourne.
Hey 50k subs we are doing the breeder reveal
Give a big kiss from me to Lucy 😘
How’d you know it’s gsd puppy season around the world 😳
Just met my 2month old zeus I bet he’s going to be such a good boi
Hi,
Me and my family are getting a GSD puppy.
We are vegetarian and were thinking if we have to feed our dog meat?
We said we would our GSD meat from the normal dog food. But not raw and cooked meat. What do you think??
how much a day do you feed lucy
About three cups of her kibble. Depends on how calorically dense it is
do you always use every feeding session as a training session? even now? if not, when can you stop doing it?
I don't do it all the time now but I still do it randomly just to mix it up. But at the start for the first 6 months it was religious
I've just got a German Shepherd puppy
Hey well done
So I put my face to my Shepard and for it to sniff me and it bit me why?
