i just hope ur really active with you videos on this project!! ill switch to "all" Notifications just in case. CONGRATS ON YOU 2ND CARWASH!!!!!!
loved the first series excited to see what you do with this location
Yeah this round should go even better.
The white plastic panels will help light that place up 👍
Its one thing I have always wanted to do at my washes.
I think getting more features in the bay and better lighting. I used to live down the street from that carwash and it looked like such a great opportunity.
Sweeeeeeet! Pretty Awesome for the First Day! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Yeah we hit the ground running. Its been going well.
Looks like a great location, and I can't wait to see more videos on this location
So far has been a good spot
@therevestor good to hear. I can't wait for more videos of this place
Looks like a great facility with a lot of potential. I think your priorities are in the right order. Focus on the customer experience first and make sure everything works in every bay. In bay lighting, site lighting, new signs, new brushes, good hoses and wands, new meter box decals and Nayax readers on the meter boxes. Once you have the customer side humming along, then you can start with the equipment room stuff. After suffering a boiler fire, I would get those serviced before winter and have someone that knows what they're doing give them a good once over. It is entirely possible to replace the customer hot water with a tankless that feeds the buffer tank. Hot water is a big plus at my wash, and it makes everything work so much better. As for paint... paint the fascia, but I would leave the bays brick. I'm in the process of painting my bays, and it's a huge pain, but my brick is really dark colored and lightening the bays up was the goal, and it's made a huge difference. I just don't know how long the paint will stay looking nice compared to the maintenance-free brick. I look forward to new videos! Good luck!
Yup were just freshening things up now. It seems like I will never get to the bottom of the project list. Still working on the first site too.
@@therevestor ...wait... there's supposed to be a bottom??
Kudos on doing a deal on a second wash... hopefully the price was right. As a car wash owner myself, it's hard to give advice about priorities without knowing the status of all the equipment but keeping focus on the customer experience is always #1.
What plans do you have for the old Rowe Changers that you took out? I might be interested in them for parts if they're in decent condition. Let me know and good luck with the new venture!
Right now I re-installed the American because I needed a backup but the hopper is too small on American. Now I am thinking about rebuilding the Rowe and installing that one.
There is an abandoned car wash here in Sunnyland, IL, it was remodeled about 10 years ago and it recently shut down but it is in damn great condition!!
Dang maybe the owner had some personal issues.
Hell yeah. Looks like a great location. Congrats brotha
So far its been great already passed sales on my first wash.
Personally i would do what the customer sees first like card payment, hoses, guns, panels and so on and then work my way thru the backrooms :P
Love it man…. Ready to tune in on this journey as well!
Awesome I will post an update soon
If self-serves in germany would just have so many features like the US ones.
No Tire brushes, barely an air dryer, most are just foam, high pressure soap, high pressure water, wax, spot free rinse, foam brush, some have tire cleaner built-in but its rare to see......
I drive by this carwash every day now you own it I never see it pack Ist only no costumers and old. Nice to you to see it own by you now
I’m hoping you can get a new automatic bay for one of the bays
Maybe some day. Its a big investment.
Well back ..
Would love to know some of the information on the purchase of this car wash. How did you find the deal? Owner financed to you? Lease+option? Bank financing? If possible would like to know how deal was structured. Any information would be greatly appreciated! Trying to figure out ways to acquire something like this for myself with little or no money down. Maybe you purchased outright for cash? IDK ha just figured I would ask :) Thanks!
Gunna save you a lot of time since it is already open and running!
Oh yeah we had a great run way.
That's so crazy! I talked to tha owner a year ago and I guess he lost my number. That's a bummer I knew that would have been a fantastic location! Can't wait to see what you do with it. Bummed that imi couldn't text it. Still trying to find my first one .
Yeah the hard part is I still work a full time job and I'm about 45 minutes from Ogden so that would be hard for me to manage. I'll look into it though
@dammitbobby283I feel like you've done this before xD except how do you get the financing when you havent ever run a business before?
You really need to start putting in some Automatic bays, that's when the money really starts flowing in.
If a new machine didn't cost $150,000+ without breaking a sweat, the ROI would actually be worth it...
@dammitbobby283 Agreed! I priced new wash equipment at the Car Wash show... from EVERY vendor... the ROI is like 7-10 years on average. That's INSANE. Find good used equipment if you can, but otherwise, new stuff is priced so outrageously, unless you're building a new facility I can't imagine trying to make it work financially.
@dammitbobby283 Only if you don’t maintain it. The kinds of guys who tell me this all have run down autos that barely work. If you treat it well, it will serve you well.
@dammitbobby283 It’s still a better source of income. If you get a good automatic you RARELY have unscheduled downtime. I’ve been in the industry for almost 4 years, I know automatics very well.
@dammitbobby283 Do you even own one? What you are saying sounds nothing like what all the operators I know have said.
hey save some for the rest of us
I will have my hands full for awhile on this one.
