Bridgerton is very well paced, in part, because it's only 8 episodes. They didn't have to stretch it out 23 episodes. Also, it's Shondaland so the dialogue is at "Scandal Pace."

So now she knows about the parts of a marriage tangible and not tangible 😅 Absolutly loved Natasha's facial expressions. Kudos to the directors of this episode as well as the actors, so well done, it made me feel like I shouldn't be watching this very personal time for two people in love. It could have come off as just a "sex scene ", but to me it read very romantic. Or maybe It's just me. Loved how Simon was so tender and loving with her for her first time, it could have gone a different way because her mother told her NOTHING! If you guys loved this episode, buckle up. 😂

This is based on a book so I think everyone knew they’d get more than one season. Each book is based on each sibling so Netflix would’ve been nuts to cancel it after Daphne’s season 😂 Season 2 is my fave so I can’t wait for y’all to be done with this season

While I adored* Season 1 for introducing me to the “Bridgerverse” and reigniting my love of period romance/drama, I agree that Season 2 is even better! Still, Queen Charlotte is my overall favorite 👑

I agree with the editer the explicit consent is SO GOOD!... Which makes the dubious consent later on in the season kind of...ugh. but yeah, consent is sexy. always!
