I remeber these guys from back in the days of the 80s when I was about 10 years old .We all wanted to be like them and incorporate their moves into our breakdancing routines .Sadly we still were`nt as good as them. They are still great though.
me and my mate loved these guys when we were kids and we even had our own robotics routine worked out too.tik n toks style was restrained distant and very very cool, it went hand in hand with the electronic music and image that was around at the time in the uk.shame it all got washed away then forgoten by break dancing and hip hop- groan.
Concidering they've learned from a world famous mime/robotic dance movement based on Marcel Marceau, you're comment is pretty damn inaccurate and nasty. Bad robotic duo do NOT get acting parts nor do advertising and generally invited to perform in front of the Queen and thousands of fans from other world famous music artists and I'd love to see the basis of your comparison. Trolls belong under a bridge only venturing out when it's mealtime. So I suggest, you crawl back under yours.

Wonderful to see Sean and yourself in this blast fromn the past. Always loved you guys. Very best wishes, Gary (the 80's were the best ever!)
yeah, they supported Gary Numan on his Warriors tour 1983, saw them at Nottingham, brought their own album out, in the loft somewhere
The old man sleeping was Roy Denton who also played Churchill in Dad's Army.
Hahahaha brilliant!!
These were huge in 80s..everyone knew tik and Tok.
I met Tok yeasrs ago in Camden around 1987, brilliant robotic damcers
not sure how I got here- but I feel I've arrived...
I have it on good authority (ie from Tik!) "the show was 'Three Of A Kind' BBC TV 1982."
Transmitted on New year's Day 1983 according to Electronic Sound magazine issue 73 page 88 😁
Boomer, it was September 1983, I found my ticket for the Apollo gig a couple of weeks ago....Warriors Tour.
Extremely rare - thanks!
Tik and Tok around the Clock...These guys need some greasing ;-)
This is so utterly genius, WOW
poppin did.. but not robotix.. these guys were the first
I’m here because of Xtro.
I saw them with Gary Numan in early 80s at the Apollo in Glasgow
they used to come in to where I worked in the 80s :)
That all depends on where you worked!
@@TIMDRY Barkers of Kensington in the 80's!
Interesting to see how they'd act going to a toilet, or try to order a pint from the local boozer

i think tok does a slightly better job than tik
Tbf, I could that in my sleep but back in the day...!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣👍👍💓
Really? How come no one ever saw you trying to do it?
hmmm.....nice
cool hairstyle
@gazfunk no that was just a rumor they are robots , my uncle ricky use to work for this guy that knew the guy who made them
one year since i shared on Facebook now on whatsapp
I'd love to know who the music is by. EvilDrFish Could it be music by Tik & Tok themselves? I know that they did or do make music.
JE5 Yes, we did the music for this show.
Sorry I meant really cool robotic dancers
great!
does anybody know who they actually were ...i was obsessed with them
Tim Dry (Tik) Sean Crawford (Tok).
It might well be a piece of piss to do, but these guys were amongst the first ones to do it.
No way is it a piece of piss to do well. We trained in mime for 4 years to perfect it. Copying us (or trying to) is not the same!
It was Dynamo Beat on the Kenny Everett show
No it wasn't!
@gazfunk Yes gazfunk, I can confirm they are actually people pretending to be robots, I kid you not. Hard to believe isn't it?
does anybody know what song it is?
We wrote and recorded it for the show in my home studio set up.
I think this is from the Kenny Everett Video Show...
No it isn't. It's from a show called '3 Of A Kind' 1982.
Is it true that they weren't real robots?
Better than Taylor “shit” Swift
Bad robotics at its worst
Thanks so much. I really appreciate your kind, thoughtful comments.
Easy there Sally, you window licker, you forgot your helmet and crayons

fotostat is better
Fair enough. Being identical twins was a great advantage for them. They were good but we did it first!
