How do I see the sheet of data it is pulling from? One of my clients had someone do a pt and it is pulling from a previous spreadsheet of data. They duplicated the spreadsheet so it is pulling from the previous year. How do I get it to pull from the current worksheet in this workbook?
It is the same principle as what I show starting at 09:29. On the "PivotTable Analyze" tab you can click on "Change Data Source" and there you can see where it is pulling the data from and also change the data source :)
Oh my goodness... I have avoided pivot tables for so long because I couldn't understand them at all. I'm so glad I decided to try again to learn and found your tutorial! This is a game changer for me. Thank you so much... you have magical teaching powers! 🪄
In the description box you can find a link to a data set that is similar to mine if you want to play around with Excel Pivot tables!
I never understood why or how to use pivot tables before but it all makes sense now. This will save me so much time. Thank you 😊
