Always think twice before you tp behind the line. You could get camped (sniped to the head) very hard if the enemies know what they are doing.
I have been both the camper and the victim for a couple times now.

Here are some things that I think got me better at Galatea, hope they help you.
1. Learn when to TP and when not to, If you see the person look at the clone or if you are unsure if there are more enemies it's probably not a good idea to TP, this mostly comes with experience the more you play her the more you'll learn when and when not to.
2. It's sometimes a good idea to just use your skill as a scan you don't always need to throw it with the intention of teleporting sometimes just getting info is enough.
3. Stay on the move, you almost always want to have at least 1 clone to TP too. When in fights you can confuse the enemy by consistently repositioning and never letting them know where you are, just try not to get predictable, this is one reason why A3 is better than A2, also always be prepared to TP out, you don't have to kill someone, you living is more important.
When you start teleporting all over the place and confusing the enemies she is a very fun character to play, hope this helps you out.
