It must've happened a hundred times but I cracked up every single time seeing Arin's character glide in from off screen with arm ready to unload a sucker punch 😂
As hilarious as this game is, I think its really charming and has funny little details. Nice gameplay with the different players having different handling, the ball animations being satisfying... and quirky things like being able to run into the ref, and performing a backboard-breaking dunk (and then the backboard being all cracked and glued together afterwards) just feels ahead of its time for an NES game. And being able to go for the full-court "threep" is just hilarious.
Those full court shots remind me of playing NBA Jam with the full court dunk cheat on. If the opposing team ever scored, you'd just jump 120 feet back to your basket.
It was an Arcade game before it was a NES game. Yes, and it was by the same people who made NBA Jam, Midway. And yes, that was a 3 point dunk, a bug in the NES version.

Man, now that their in the same room together again, I’m getting Old School GG vibes with them picking a random NES game and just having fun. Don’t get me wrong, their longer play through are fun, but to me it’s better when they are spaced out.
It reminds me of when they used to have two uploads a day. Granted that was when all their episodes were only 10 minutes. I like the longer videos much more, especially these old school gems.
