I like the North, it's more peacefull, love the sounds of the forest. Well if you don't like the north of Thailand you can always go south and live near the sea :) It's been a while I have been there, but prices seem to have gone up quite alot.
Once I went to Chiang Mai it was an incredible city I have never been before
