I looked at the report to see how they calculated the numbers. The "living wage" is a very generous definition that includes healthcare, food, childcare, housing, internet/mobile, civic engagement (e.g. entertainment), transportation, "other necessities" such as personal care/housing equipment, and taxes. Then you multiply this by 2 to get the arbitrary "comfortable income". It is not a 50/30/20 split, rather 50% is essentially discretionary income to live "comfortably". Yeah, you don't need this income to live comfortably, and plenty of families prove this point.
Didn't you hear? Sniffy Joe, our first black female president, whos uncle was eaten by people eaters, and whos son checked out in I rack 2x said he beat Medicare! Woooo
If you believe. How many hours a day, week or month to get that amount of money? They want you to work long and hard to think you're living comfortable. I'm not working hard and got plenty of free time for myself and living comfortably.
When I was a young lad in western Canada, I knew a former Hong Kong police officer who owned a fish and chips restaurant who told me the key to the financial good life was to "earn 10 dollars, only spend 1." At the time, I thought that was great, but unobtainable. Now that I am retired and I have learned to live on about the same metric and use the extra money to travel the world, invest and live care free. It took a few decades but I assure you, it can be done. When you are 60 you don't care about driving a Porsche anymore (they kept me broke) and you don't care about chasing the gold digging ladies anymore. Age has a way of making you wise. Using the formula of living on around 10% of your net income allows you to have the disposable income of a lower upper income earner, while only being a middle earner. But, alas, we live in a instant gratification society, so I am sure only a few percentage of the people out there could achieve this goal, but great living is in store for those who can. P.S. I have followed you from the early Pirate days, so it's great to still see you uploading. Regards from British Columbia.
Mr Robert, my Name is Gary.. I got demonetized from youtube because of reused content policy.. I've tried to reappeal but they denied it.. Is there a way for me to know which video is causing the reused content issue.. I got 514 videos on my channel and most of them I created it from scratch.. Also is there any way for me to re apply faster instead of waiting 90 days? Thank you so much for your help
Hey Gary. I looked at your channel. A LOT of your videos are reused content. You are using other people's videos in your videos. Unfortunately, there isn't a way to shorten the 90 day requirement. Use the time to go through ALL of your videos and delete all the videos with other people's content in them.
@@GoosePondHideoutWithRob thank you for your kind reply Mr Robert.. I turned off monetization on the reposted video, is it still the cause of my channel demonetization? I also always edit some stuffs before I repost.. like adding sticker, music and cuts on it.. Is it not allowed? Thank you Mr Robert
That's insane! I need to see that article and map. LOL My last year working was the most I made and that included my 300 hours buyout. You don't know how much you spend working! I am saving more money retiring than working. WOW
According to the World Economic Forum by 2030 we will own nothing and will be happy🤸 Wait...who will own everything? 🤔 And does this have anything to do with what is happening now🤔
Holy c**p. lol I"m in WI and my son says "well some are more" , yeah and that's insane. I guess we are way....................below that level. The house is paid off, no car payments, 4 kids, I work side jobs cleaning (well more and more because its crazy how many people need cleaners). Anyway the hubby is for the bop and he makes around a 1/3 of what we "need" to be comfortable. Heaven help us.
Here is a link to the map and report:

Thanks for looking into the content of the report. Good to know and thanks for sharing.
They don't even consider medical care at all.
It's probably in there somewhere?

Well said. I agree with you.

Interesting, thanks for sharing this with me.
Need to consider taxes when calculating salary requirements. It looks like you live on beautiful land. Which state is that?
We live in a state with no income tax.
