Kinda cool to see Gohan beast with regular clothes
Whenever this gets adapted to the anime, I BETTER be able to play as Beast Gohan with casual clothes in games.
People saying that he sense Gohan’s ki in RoF aren’t paying attention to the nuance.
In RoF Goku had to search for Gohan’s ki to find it from beerus’s planet, actively, while gohan powered up to as high as he could to give Goku something to lock on to.
In this instance, Gohan’s ki overwhelmed Goku and Vegeta’s senses passively because it was so massive. They didn’t have to search for Gohan’s ki… it hit them from that distance.

It's nice to finally get new storyline progress since the DBS Superhero movie. I was fine with the Goten and Trunks superhero stuff, but this stuff is definitely more hype.

Finally some new stuff
Finally something different last year was the worst yeah there was hyped stuff but we needed more and these spoilers gives a little more than what we should have been getting last year I believe this year will be amazing for dragon ball
I definitely liked that we got Superhero in the manga. It helps connect it to the Granolah arc and future arcs more naturally. If someone just watched the movie with no manga context, they'd be confused about Superheros's timeline placement and how it connects to future arcs. But the manga connects everything in a cohesive manner, which is why I believe getting the recap in the manga was necessary. Also, I just like that the manga is cohesive in the sense that most arcs are included in it. Makes getting into DBS a lot easier, so you dont have to watch movies, then switch to anime, then switch to movies, etc.
@@jantheking7028 my problem with the arc in the manga is not it being in the manga it’s just that we got a whole year of recaps with little to no changes if there was changes I would’ve liked it way better which is why I’m praising chapter 101
@@Officialdemon72 I dont think changes are necessary. When an anime adapts a manga, there is typically very few changes. It is the same case here, except the animated version came first. From Shueshia's point of view, the only purpose of the Superhero recap was to:
1. Connect Superhero to the Granolah arc and whatever arc comes next
2. Make the manga a cohesive storyline that includes most of the DBS storyline, which is great. In 10-15 years when DBS is over, I'd imagine it would be really annoying/confusing for manga readers to have to switch to anime or movies for certain parts. Having everything in one manga just makes more sense and is a lot easier for follow. They definitely didn't have to do this, but I appreciate the fact they did. Sure, its annoying to us MODERN fans who have to sit through basically a 2-year pause on storyline progression, but in the long run, it will definitely help the manga and make it a lot more accessible. The only thing the manga is missing is RoF.
Finally, we might get some actual confirmation on how strong Gohan is, im of the opinion he's currently the strongest apart from Frieza.
But cant be too sure until its stated to us as a fact, it might also silence the Gohan = Blue KK/ Evolution crowd.

This chapter bout to go crazy
Another possibility for Vegeta is not that he is trying to use Ultra Ego in base, but perhaps he needs to take damage in his weaker forms before he can even use ultra ego. Because if you remember the granolah arc, Vegeta only used ultra ego after taking a huge amount of damage in his weaker forms. Maybe he was trying to do the same here. Maybe pain/battle damage is the trigger to even active ultra ego.

Orange Piccolo < Vegeta ≈ Goku < Cell Max
Beast gohan, goku and vegeta are all stromger than broly.
Beast gohan => TUI goku => Ue vegeta >> FPSSJ Broly > Cell max > Orange piccolo.
I’m so glad we’re done with the retelling super hero arc 💀 it just doesn’t work with a MONTHLY release schedule. If it was weekly it could slide.

@@user-bt9yh8jn1q I was kidding i aint even read boruto since the timeskip. Not a fan of saskue being a tree or Boruto using Minato's techniques. Also not a fan of Code being hyped up just for him to be mid. Mostly been keeping up with it through Sontj and Twitter. I'll catch up again soon since u say this chapter is good apparently.

Beast is up there but it’s not stronger than ui ue
I think Gohan Beast is stronger than Cell Max in manga too since he tanked his punch with no effort like in the movie, then sent him flying.
But Cell Max's condensed blast is ~ Gohan Beast's Special Beam Cannon in manga (unlike the movie)
So Cell Max (Condensed Energy Ball) ~ Gohan Beast (Special Beam Cannon) > Gohan Beast > Cell Max
As for Gohan Beast vs Current Goku & Vegeta, we will probably find out next chapter. But if I have to guess, Goku & Vegeta are probably still stronger (but not too sure)

Nevermind, after reading the full summary. There is actually a chance that Gohan Beast is actually stronger
Bulma said Gohan might have surpassed Goku & Vegeta and told that to Vegeta (I am not saying she is right), and then just after that, Goku and Vegeta were shocked and in disbelief about Gohan Beast's Ki when the latter powered up and they sensed it from that location unintentionally.
Goku wants to fight Gohan due to that (Editor's note implies it)

I am a Gohan fan myself, and although I like Gohan being the strong, cool character that he is at times, I am ok with him staying with his family and if that makes him weaker, then so be it. I'm fine with that because that really feels like it fits with his character. Gohan is just way too human. Gohan was born on earth and raised in human customs and things like that, so he will definitely be more human, and it shows that when he is portrayed as weaker and with his family, because that's what he wants. He wants to be with his family. He wants to be a dad and be there for, and with his daughter as she grows up, he wants things that most other people want. It's like that little instance in the Goku Black Arc where Future Trunks met Adult Gohan and his family and he was sad that he didn't have that, because as cool as they are in fighting and gaining more and more power and just being cool and bad-@$$ you have to remember that they are still people. They have wants and desires and other things, because from their perspective, Gohan and Future Trunks, you always have to fight, you always have to struggle, you lose things and it's hard to just go on, they have losses and life is hard and they wish for their lives to get better. Looking at it that way and in that constantly fighting lifestyle there is barely any peace, if any, and you don't have time for yourself or your family, and you will have a lot of pressure on you and you will be struggling all of the time and so many things where you will feel overwhelmed, and you think about your family, and that things could be better and wishing that it wasn't this way and that things were different, having all this weight on your shoulders and just to a point where you can't be with your family and all of you cannot find really any real happiness if you're not there, and then it just gets to a point where you are overwhelmed and it feels like you want to quit, like you are sick and tired, you're tired of being sick, you are sick of being tired. That is what this would most likely do, maybe not everyone, but it is that way with Future Trunks and with Gohan, because of the pacifist that he is I feel like this is how he will be. That is why I am ok with Gohan being weaker and being with his family and things like that because that portrays his character very well because it shows that he is different from Goku and Vegeta and he is a more down to Earth, human, individual, who is just living and trying to achieve happiness and other things in life, and that is what makes him a great character in my opinion, not his power, just his personality and characteristics of a good man who shows that even though he has the power he is still a person, not a warrior per say. It gives you that human, peace loving side to Dragon Ball with Gohan.

I think Gohan Beast is as powerful as Goku and Vegeta can be, but I think Goku and Vegeta both have new abilities amd not just power, as well as more experience in their forms and battle experience and that counts.
Like how Vegeta admires how Jiren moves in a different more experienced way when fighting and that adds to his power in a more immeasurable way.
its hard to say the last time Gohan saw Goku and veegta was Moro so idk i would say to be safe he is on the same level as them if not a litttle bit above.

I think strength wise he's stronger than them both but I still don't think he'd win the fight against them at this current moment , but will be interesting to see what whis and Beerus say about how transformation as it's different to everybody's elses
The whole Granolah arc was basically Goku and Vegeta in their strongest forms losing to people just because they were stronger than them
Granolah, Gas and even Black Frieza don’t have the same level of statements or ‘outside the narrative’ hype that Gohan does
Ik DBS can be inconsistent with power wins fights vs skill wins fights but I’d argue Gohan is a more skilled fighter than the 3 people who beat Goku and Vegeta that I mentioned previously
I would say its a toss up. Hes on the same level. Gohan is that dark horse lottery character. He might not always seem to be the stongest, but only a fool would ever count him out completely. He doesnt have to train at the extent goku, piccolo, and vegeta do to get stonger.
Akira Toriyama has stated on record that Gohan beast is the strongest hero in Dragon Ball super.
All agendas aside, it looks like the narrative is setting up gohan > goku. Although I personally think it would make more sense for goku to be stronger than gohan, Gohan just has too much at this point that makes him look stronger than goku. According to one of the spoilers, even bulma suggested that gohan was stronger if I remember correctly. Either way, its definitely gonna be cool to get a conclusive answer to this question next chapter, and I hope it is answered with a sparring match or a fight.

Cell max was stronger in the manga i wonder if that might work better, everyone likes to downplay gohan, but these days UE and UI are being downplayed themselves they were destroyed in one punch even mastered
I think that when it comes to Cell Max scaling to Beast Gohan, I think that Cell Max's attack was just much stronger than Beast Gohan's, because Beast Gohan, like we saw in the movie, was able to tank Cell Max's attack without flinching. As far as how the character's scale with just hands, Beast Gohan pretty vastly surpasses Cell Max, but when it comes down to their techniques, Cell Max has Beast Gohan beat, so that's why Beast Gohan struggled in their clash.

Agreed. Even the light novel said that Cell Max's final ball attack was absorbing energy from its surrounding area.

The difference is Goku was concentrating to find Gohan’s ki because it was so small from that distance. In this case… it overwhelmed his senses because it was so big.
@@EhrgeizZF Thats how I see it too, there's a difference between Goku sensing in the direction of earth, and then Gohan's SSJ power pinging him to the right planet, and Beast Gohan being so strong a Goku who isn't even thinking about earth has his senses be overwhelmed by the power without trying to sense it.

As cool and original as this is, i have 2 problems with the spoilers:
1. Why would Gohan need to go Beast against a mere himan like Carmine? Gohan should have just went Super Saiyan to save his energy? Its not like Carmine is on the same level as Cell Max 😑
2. If Goku & Vegeta sense Gohan's new Beast form when confronting Carmine, why couldn't they sense it when Gohan was facing Cell Max???
Well I think that since this was a movie about Gohan and piccolo that if Goku and Vegeta went to go help Gohan they would have to stop there training with broly
Because Carmine threatened his daughter's life, then showed back up on his doorstep with Trunks and his little brother
Because Goku and Vegeta were fighting when Gohan went Beast and were too busy fighting to sense another ki from across the universe, even if it was as massive as Beast Gohan's
Goku and vegeta couldn't sense gohan energy during the cell max fight because they were at the end of their own battle. As both the manga and the movie show, Goku and Vegeta could barely stand by the time they were finished fighting each other. If they could barely stand, I can't see how they wouldve been able to sense ki from billions of miles away.
Better question is, why do you think Gohan would restrain himself to SSJ?, Gohan was simply enraged, he didn't need Beast or even SSJ1, but his rage exploded and he transformed to his highest form.
Sort of like that scene in the Super Anime where Vegeta kept turning SSJB when Bra cried, even if that was more of a comedy scene.
If you exclude Broly, it goes Goku Vegeta, then Gohan. Gohan doesn't have any extra Feats or versatile techniques that we haven't seen. And we're not going to exclude the fact that all it takes is to have somebody watch your fight and feel your key to adapt just like in the cell games.
