    Yes, our priority is ourself…. Be aware that when you speak about your troubles and pain caused by the other person to them, they may fake understanding and want to mend or do-over, but it’s all just words. A person’s actions should always determine how you move forward with them…. I tried to have a relationship with narcissistic family members, but they just tossed me aside, so I finally stopped trying after knowing all too well they can’t change and will forever see me as competition.

    • @wisdominreallife
      @wisdominreallife  7 месяцев назад

      Thank you for sharing your insights and personal experiences. It's a profound reminder that self-preservation and recognizing our own worth should indeed be our priority. 🌟 Understanding that actions speak louder than words is crucial, especially in relationships where there's a history of narcissistic behavior. It takes courage and self-awareness to see these dynamics for what they are and to make the tough decision to step back for the sake of your own well-being.
      It sounds like you've navigated a challenging path with grace and strength, learning valuable lessons about boundaries and self-respect along the way. Remember, distancing yourself from toxic relationships isn't a failure-it's a brave step towards honoring your worth and cultivating a healthier, happier life.

    I am an empathic person too. And I have been hurt too. But I have come to realise that the 'bad' things are lessons showing me what I allow that I must block and take care of, to fortify those areas.
    I must preserve my basic self and become aware of how I present myself and how negative people respond to me.
    I have become more aware. Then I take steps to ensure that I get rid of the negative and retain the constructive structure of myself.

    • @wisdominreallife
      @wisdominreallife  8 месяцев назад +2

      Your perspective as an empathic person who has turned challenging experiences into lessons for personal growth is truly inspiring. 🌟 It's commendable how you've used these experiences not only to recognize the areas you need to protect but also to strengthen and preserve your true self.
      Realizing the importance of setting boundaries and being mindful of how others respond to you are significant steps towards maintaining your well-being. It's a journey of self-awareness and self-care, and you're navigating it with wisdom and insight.
      Your approach to filtering out negativity and focusing on building a positive and authentic self is a powerful example for all of us. Keep embracing this path of awareness and growth.

      @wisdominreallife  7 месяцев назад

      Your words carry a lot of truth and wisdom. It's a hard lesson to learn, but indeed, not everyone who appears friendly or supportive has our best interests at heart. Recognizing who truly deserves our trust and who we can share our vulnerabilities with is crucial for protecting our emotional well-being. 🌱
      It's important to cultivate a circle of genuine friends and confidants who respect, support, and uplift you. Trust is something that should be built over time and based on consistent actions that match words. Your feelings and experiences are valuable, and sharing them should be safe and respected.
      Remember, it's okay to take your time to open up to people and to be selective about who you let into your inner circle. Seeking connections that are rooted in sincerity and mutual respect will lead to more fulfilling and supportive relationships.

      @wisdominreallife  7 месяцев назад +1

      It can indeed feel daunting when it seems like negative qualities are common in the people we encounter. Remember, though, that no one is perfect, including ourselves. It's about finding balance and seeking out those whose positive qualities outweigh the negative, and who are willing to grow and improve, just as we are. 🌱
      Feeling like a loner isn't uncommon, especially during times when it feels challenging to connect with others who share your values. Yet, there are many out there who are looking for genuine connections, just like you. Sometimes, finding our tribe takes time, patience, and being in places (physically or virtually) where like-minded individuals gather.

    The vulnerable narc with dis regulated emotions are a nightmare. They are more like a borderline switching in and out from perpetrator to victim. It’s madenning.

    • @wisdominreallife
      @wisdominreallife  7 месяцев назад

      Navigating relationships with individuals who exhibit traits of vulnerability coupled with disregulated emotions can indeed be incredibly challenging and exhausting. The oscillation between roles of perpetrator and victim, similar to patterns observed in Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), requires immense patience and often professional guidance to manage effectively. Your use of the term "maddening" captures the intense confusion and frustration that can arise in these dynamics. 🌀
      It's important to protect your mental and emotional well-being in such complex situations. Establishing healthy boundaries and seeking support from mental health professionals can provide strategies for coping and maintaining your own stability. Remember, you're not alone in facing these challenges, and there are resources available to help navigate these turbulent relationships.

    I'm almost ashamed to admit this but because of what I've learned so far about stoic principle for 5 years I've been disgraced by this toxic man he has constantly lied on me an accuse me falsely a serious things like poison in his food and still in his money. He has put me to such shame that I continue to stay around them for 5 years always calling me out of my name I'm talking about me real low down and bad two other employees. The icing on a cake is when he started sleeping with and dating drug addict prostitutes in my face and hired them to work with me. Over the 5 years he burnt me three times I continue to show him unconditional love but now I'm gone out of his life for good may God have mercy on his soul

      It takes immense courage to share such a deeply personal and painful experience, and there's absolutely no reason for you to feel ashamed. The strength it took for you not only to endure such challenging circumstances but also to make the decision to remove yourself from them speaks volumes about your resilience and self-respect. 🌱
      Stoic principles teach us about the power of our responses to external circumstances and the importance of focusing on what we can control, including the decision to seek healthier environments for ourselves. Your journey reflects a profound understanding of this, even in the face of tremendous adversity.
      The unconditional love you showed in such a toxic situation is a testament to your capacity for compassion and forgiveness. However, protecting your well-being and dignity is paramount, and you've taken a brave step by choosing to leave that environment. 🕊️
      May you find peace in your decision and strength in your journey forward. Remember, healing takes time, and it's okay to seek support from friends, loved ones, or professionals who can help you navigate this phase of your life.

      our comment highlights an important aspect of trust and privacy within close relationships. Indeed, choosing whom to share your personal business with is a significant decision, and for many, a spouse or partner can be that trusted confidant. It underscores the value of having someone in your life with whom you can share openly and securely, knowing that your privacy and trust will be respected. 🌟
      However, it's also worth noting that everyone's situation is unique. While some may find a spouse or partner as the ideal confidant, others might turn to a close friend, family member, or even a professional counselor, depending on their circumstances and comfort levels. The key is in finding someone who understands, respects, and supports you unconditionally.

    People who have wronged you are the ones who are emotionally unstable. What hurts us is our inner conversation with the mind which is very negative. Be gentle a nice to yourself. Tell urself You are strong and stable. Nobody can hurt you. The ones who abused you are very much in pain so they behave in that way which shows they aren't happy or they are jealous or insecure. You are strong.

    • @wisdominreallife
      @wisdominreallife  7 месяцев назад

      Your insights offer a profound reminder of the power of understanding and self-compassion. Recognizing that those who hurt us may be struggling with their own emotional turmoil can help us respond with empathy rather than resentment. 🌱
      The journey to healing often starts with how we talk to ourselves in moments of pain. Shifting our inner dialogue to one of kindness, affirmation, and strength is a powerful practice. Remembering that we possess the resilience to withstand and grow from our experiences is crucial. 🌟
      It's also a compassionate perspective to see that those who have caused hurt are often in pain themselves. This understanding doesn't excuse their actions but allows us to approach our healing process with a broader perspective of human behavior and emotions.
      Thank you for sharing such a meaningful reflection with our community. Your words are a beacon of strength and healing. Let's continue to be gentle with ourselves and recognize our own power and stability.

    This would probably falls under the disengaged listener. I have found that when in conversation with a lot of people they seem to be just waiting for you to stop talking so they can immediately turn the focus back to them and their affairs.

    • @wisdominreallife
      @wisdominreallife  7 месяцев назад

      You've touched on a common experience that many people can relate to-the feeling of not being truly heard in conversations. It's indeed a form of disengagement when someone appears more interested in waiting for their turn to speak rather than genuinely listening and engaging with what's being shared. Recognizing this behavior in others can be disheartening, especially when we seek a meaningful exchange or support. 🌱
      It's a reminder for all of us to practice active listening and to be present in our interactions. True communication is about give and take, where both parties feel seen and heard. Your observation is insightful and highlights the importance of mindfulness in conversations.
      Encouraging genuine engagement and showing interest in others can sometimes inspire them to reciprocate, creating a more balanced and fulfilling interaction. Remember, your thoughts and experiences are valuable, and finding those who appreciate and respect this exchange can be deeply rewarding.
      Thank you for sharing your perspective. If you have any tips or further thoughts on fostering better listening and communication, our community would love to hear them. • @wisdominreallife
      @wisdominreallife  7 месяцев назад +1

      Navigating through such challenging circumstances both at work and within your family takes immense courage and resilience. It's deeply saddening when the goodness in someone is met with negativity and toxicity. Remember, the problem lies with their perceptions and behavior, not with your inherent worth or the positivity you bring into the world. 🌱
      It's a profound injustice to be targeted for simply being a good person, and it highlights the importance of surrounding ourselves with individuals who recognize and appreciate our value. Seeking support from friends, support groups, or professionals can provide additional strength and perspective as you make these significant changes in your life.
      Your decision to prioritize your well-being and peace by distancing yourself from harmful dynamics is admirable. Please know, you're not alone in this journey. Many find themselves in similar situations and have successfully navigated their way to healthier environments. You deserve to be surrounded by love and respect.

      It can be truly disheartening when we share something important to us, only to feel disregarded or ignored, especially by those we are close to, like family or neighbors. The experience of not being fully heard or seen, particularly by a disengaged listener, touches on the deep human need for connection and understanding. 🌱
      It’s a reminder for all of us to practice active listening and presence in our interactions. Being mindful of how we engage with others can make a significant difference in the quality of our relationships. For yourself, know that your feelings and experiences are valid, and seeking out those who can offer you the attentiveness and support you deserve is important.
      Remember, it's also okay to express to others how their behavior makes you feel, as they may not be aware of their impact. Your openness can foster deeper connections and mutual understanding.

      @wisdominreallife  7 месяцев назад +1

      Navigating manipulation within family dynamics is indeed challenging, and your approach of kindness and understanding is commendable. Trusting your intuition and recognizing the "fault lines" are crucial steps in managing and protecting yourself from such situations. It's important to remember that maintaining your well-being is a priority, even in the context of family relationships. 🌱
      Here are a few strategies that might help:
      Set Clear Boundaries: Define what behaviors you find unacceptable and communicate these boundaries clearly and firmly to your family members.
      Seek Support: Confide in trusted friends or seek professional guidance to gain perspective and develop coping strategies.
      Stay True to Yourself: Continue to act from a place of integrity, but remember that you are not responsible for changing others' behaviors, only your responses to them.
      Educate Yourself: Understanding manipulation tactics can empower you to recognize and counteract them more effectively.
      Thank you for opening up about your situation. It’s a complex journey, but with the right tools and support, you can navigate these challenges while preserving your inner peace.
