Try Ziggy Lucets on RUclips. Ziggy has a great way of tightening the tension perfectly.
It would have been nice to see how to close the chord off. Had to go to another tutorial to find that. But thank you for the tutorial it helped me immensely :)
That looks like it would be therapeutic or a great keep busy chore for a kiddo.
I keep hearing the school counselor from Glee's voice when you talk. (That's a compliment - she has a unique and pleasant voice.)
Helpful tutorial. You should make a new one that explains how to finish it.
I agree; that braid is too loose. Tighten the tension. To make a tight cord, you just pull the thread a bit harder to tighten the center knot more.
That's amusing. I used to do this with my fingers when I first started playing with yarn. I had no idea then that it has a valid use. I think, though, that I prefer i-cords.
I think I used to hand weave something similar to this as a kid. It had absolutely no purpose for me but to be fun lol
Was it finger knitting? It looks very similar.
It works !
I love your ring!? Where did you get it?
When will these be back in stock? they have been sold out for what seems like forever
Interesting…I wonder if it could be done with wire?
This is interesting but I knit icords with all weights of yarn that are easier to make than this. It’s fun to know though.
Its nice but without knowing how to finish its not that useful
P
It is not braided; it is a form of knitting.
I never got a replacement. Mine had a piece of wood nicked off and it catches my yarn and cord. Never got to use it at all! I will never order from the. Again!!!! 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡
