      This Kayou set is the only fully licensed one I've found, there are a couple other DC branded sets but they are bootlegs. There is actually a brand new one out right now too in a flat black box with the DC logo on the front, it's also a bootleg but has cards from basically every single DC film, even the ones you really want to forget happened.

      Back in the day there were some really cool sets in the west, when Upper Deck had the license.

    I just started getting into collecting trading cards. I stumbled upon your channel and been binge watching a bunch of your videos. I chose to collect DC cards and I have been trying to collect various DC branded trading cards. The 1991 cosmic cards by impel, 1993 cosmic cards by skybox and others. DC cards seem to be mostly old cards. The hybrid NFT cards by HRO seem to be the newest and i like the rarity aspect and mint number of the cards. After seeing these Chinese made cards by Kayou, it blows my mind how great they look and how much quality they put into their cards. When I look at the HRO hybrid cards they seem so bland compared to the Kayou cards which seem to have foil work on every card and their backside as well. You also cannot beat the price of these cards. For 1 HRO box would be worth like 4-5 Kayou boxes and that blows my mind. I'm definitely going to be focusing on collecting these cards more. Great video! and I hope you do more openings of different DC cards.

      Hey! Welcome and thanks for watching! The Kayou DC cards are pretty epic, there are numbered "The World" cards in there too, somebody posted one they pulled on Reddit: www.reddit.com/r/AliExpressGameCards/comments/1csqqz5/i_found_kayou_dc_batman_the_world_dctk005_l5/ if you get the /99 version you can exchange that for signed artwork by Qui Kun - one of the artists who worked on that series.
      I did just record a new DC video, it should go live Wednesday this week, I opened all my older sets and 1 box of the brand new DC set that comes with these cool numbered cards in matching acrylic stands

      Someday somebody is going to pull my mask off Scooby-Doo style and reveal that I'm actually AliExpress! 😭. Woah, a Scooby-Doo set would be kind of amazing.

    Cool, I like the rarity system, something different from those ssr/ur/LSP icons which sometimes make cards look worse. I really like the chibi flash and the comic book cards

      Yep this L1/L2/L3 system is way simpler to understand too, I like it. I wish I had gotten a Batman chibi card, after 3 boxes I still don't have one.

    Where can I find the full list of cards to collect?

    • @TradingCardArchivist
      @TradingCardArchivist  11 месяцев назад

      That's the hardest part of this, the publishers rarely release those. Usually all we have is the vendor sell sheet: www.aliexpress.us/item/3256806008028701.html. It does list all the rarity levels and counts though so you can make a checklist - just without knowing the names of the missing cards.

    Man, you're going to make me lose a lot of money 😅 and their prices are high on eBay. It looks like I'm going to stop buying Dragon Ball cards TCG for a bit.
