I gotta admit this one was super exciting to open just because of how really rare things seem to be. How crazy would it be if somebody wins that and it does have a diamond in it!

Past case chaser cards sell for $200-$300. I would assume that is what we will see for the diamond ARs. There are SCR cards with the prototype images drawn by the artist, I can't think of her name, for the cartoon in this set.

That is a continual topic on the discord server: discord.gg/R8SK7VYTUg - Trying to figure out which vendors are good. But really I think the all the big collectors are buying more direct that AliExpress these days. I'm not super sure how it works but they could teach you. I've been having great luck with "Kayou Culture FlagShip Store" recently, but it's tough to really recommend any, every store has some horror stories out there unfortunately.

Yeah, or to make it even more confusing on AliExpress they are often called "Collection Cards" because of how things translate. That just helps if you are searching for obscure things on there.

It's what keeps me coming back lol. My MLP "Adventure Box" should arrive today, that huge pirate chest looking brown box. I'm still think that is going to just have a bunch of single card in it though.

@TradingCardArchivist exciting! Yes, from what I understand it is one card per box with 16 boxes in the large chest. Strange concept. I hope you pull a diamond AR, I have been trying to find them on eBay but everyone tells me they are too expensive so I am thinking the diamond ARs are one per case but that is just an assumption. I tried to buy a case but average joe said they sold out at preorder and I could only get one from the secondary market. So everyone will need to help everyone by trading for that set I think.

It's hard to be mad when the card keep getting better! I'm still searching for the rest of the "Dreams of the Red Mansion" -> "Journey to the West" big box sets. I keep hoping for more like that. Kayou should make a Three Kingdoms with that level of premium quality

The Dynamite cards are shameful compared to these - shocking, really - but Kayou seem to have little presence outside of AliExpress and solutions like that friend of yours who imports and resells them. I live in Australia and rest assured will do what I can to spread the word about these.

Well I live in Los Angeles and I still order all mine from AliExpress, mostly this vendor: s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_ol7hLZX It's scary at first but honestly it's been totally fine. There are a lot of those listed on Ebay too if you do want to buy from a local reseller - but they will cost more. @@BrendanHodges-b1v For me I just had never ordered anything from China before. You get used to it, but a few things are the long waits with basically 0 way to get any status update - some orders are 3-4 weeks before they just randomly show up. It's very different from like Amazon or something lol. I will say that AliExpress has been great so far, and I've done a lot of orders now. The few times I've needed refunds they've done it with little fuss.

Yep, Kayou makes some incredible looking cards - especially in these premium boxes.

@@TradingCardArchivistWhat's also good about those boxes is they should help protect the cards during transport. I couldn't help but order some from Aliexpress just because of how good they looked in your video. Really appreciate the exposure.

The Transformers One cards do also look good but certain elements of that movie didn't do enough to make me want to spend money on cards for it (though I will admit that other elements were fantastic). Ultimately, it's the 40th that really touches the nostalgia strings for me.

That's super tricky. There are a few big name companies: Kayou, Kakawow and Card.Fun - all their products are licensed. Past that things get really murky and difficult to even try to research what is licensed or not.

@ that makes sense. I think a better way to word my question would be: how can you tell what seller has genuine kayou products?

@@nathancarmen1685 Oh yeah that's also tricky, generally I stick with the big vendors like Anime Card Store - they are big enough where their profit comes from direct sales and they don't really have time to be trying to fake things or search packs when they do 100s of orders a day. I don't think so, this was around back when i started this channel so it must be at least a couple years old now.
