Entry Grade RX-78-2 Real Type Color Custom Build

While the hype of PG Unleashed still around the corner, and i am pretty sure not the only one who want it but can't afford it at the moment lol. So i decided to take this Entry Grade RX-78-2 and turn him into Real Type Color version. This is my 2nd that i did with custom panel line, and i'm looking forward Bandai would release another mobile suit under Entry Grade.

I bought two MG kits and realised I might not want my first ever painted kit to be an MG so I bought this exact kit to not be sad if I mess up! You turned it into a gorgeous looking kit! This is really setting the bar super high in how good this kit can look! I'm looking forward to try and customise my own as a beginner :)

@@awanplamo Hey don't worry about it! This was a very nice experience and apart from some paint chipping around the connected joints I am so pleased with the end result! I'm currently working on a HG and trying scribing before jumping to the MGs cause I still don't feel completely comfortable with tackling the Hi Nu Ver Ka as a second painted kit aha

@@GunxblastFr whoaa Hi Nu Ver Ka that's a turkey! Scribbing is fun indeed, but i prefer to do it on MG kit since most of them are quite spacey to do per part, but HG kit does give me a fun challenge.

My target store had a clearance sale on these, I bought up like 6 of them, coincidentally I decided to try a real type scheme on mine too! Yours came out incredible, mine looks pretty good but I’m unhappy with the way the paint came out. I look forward to trying again though this time with scribing and utilizing what I learned with my painting mistakes! Thanks for sharing your method!

I'm kind of surprised you didn't split the front skirt pieces. It's just a tiny bit more difficult to lock in place, but once the crotch pieces are in place, they're locked in there

Thanks! Yes, i need to understand more of the kit. When you assemble it first, you will know the mechanism of kit, the part will be visible to paint, or dont need to get painted. Also assembling unpainted kit help me to notice which part i need to be careful some weak joint/part for further custom needed.
