Dragon Quest and Chrono Trigger also meant a shit ton to me; this theme brings it all back. This Game will allways and forever be the best Dragon Ball Z Game EVER made. After this game it ONLY got worse and worse, down the shitter. Infinite World was KINDA a glimpse of light, but it still wasn't anywhere as awesome as Budokai 3. And now, all that we have left is Memories of a great Game, with a new shitty Soundtrack, and lots of shit... Maybe DBZ for PS4 won't disappoint, but i highly doubt it will be any good :(

Im 22 and my friends and I still play this game almost everytime we hang out. After about 7 years of cell games tournaments the fights we have agents each other are the most heart pounding video gaming I've ever had.
I find it funny that for the release of Budokai 1 the American release had the recreation of the shows opening while here in Australia we got one of the tracks from the OST with a montage of clips from the story mode and then with Budokai 3 here we got the opening theme with the lyrics while the American release was the instrumental version of the song

Hironobu Kageyama to me, is like LiSa. His voice is instantly recognized and it adds so much personality to all of his songs. It’s with a saddened heart but nothing but happy memories and a smile that is left on my face from the wonders of what Toriyama did for me during childhood and adulthood. RIP Akira Toriyama. Forever missed and loved.

Think back to a simpler time. Back when the strongest form of Super Sayain was Super Sayain 4, back before Super Dragonballs. Back when The Supreme Kai was still a semi-respectable character, even if he still fucked up a lot. Back when unlocking characters was one of the most fun parts of the game. Back when finding "What Ifs" in your game was a surpise. Back when RUclips wasn't around to spoil your entire game for you and you had to go to school and debate with your friends about what was real in the game and what wasn't.
