Thank you very much for this it is very helpful. To get the optimum performance out of the s9/s9+ upgrade u have to factory reset after the update and any kind of issues u are facing after the update would be resolved just make sure u backup your data before doing that. I did that and my phone is working perfectly fine
Thanks so much was annoyed that I can't update my s10+ for 2 years now my last update was 2019 now its up to date and works properly so hard to find something that works an this is just amazing thanks

@@happyhomeandgardenjohndawne Funny thing is, my Samsung Galaxy S9+ is from Verizon and that got updated directly from the device itself via Phone Settings, after a few attempts. Thank you, I just update an AT&T S9+ that had an old firmware with the latest XAS (terminal 9FUB2) firmware. Had a little scare because I tried to use the Home CSC, because the previous firmware was so old I hat to re-flash with Odin and use the normal (wipe user info) CSC, running great. With the old I had very bad cellular reception (usually 2 little bars) now even indoors is just missing the last bar, I hope is not a visual trick, thank you so much for your help!

A couple of questions ... does my phone need to be Unlocked (it appears so from the Odin opening Screen. Second, I am lucky enough to have a Galaxy SM-G995U1 (s8+), which is no longer able to make calls due to AT&T shutting down ATT MicroCell in Feb 2022. Would what you describe fix that issue? Or, others, have you found a way to update the U1's to be 4G compatible? Right now it's a paperweight I can text with. Thanks

@@happyhomeandgardenjohndawne Thank you so much! It finally worked for me! I think my mistake was that I did not remove screen lock from my phone, and also I think my Odin version was off. So I downloaded a different version of Odin - similar to what you have, and also unlocked the screen, and it worked. Also, when I was correcting the bug that you mentioned, apparently - that was not enough, so I found another video, and it helped - ruclips.net/video/XLiSmoLe26M/видео.html An interesting thing, also - as I said I am on T-Mobile, but the phone was an unlocked AT&T phone. After the upgrade, it became a T-Mobile phone - I am seeing a T-Mobile logo at the start and also some T-Mobile apps.
I chose XAS (I think 9FUB2), that's why I was surprised to see the T-Mobile logo. Well I guess it happened because I had T-Mobile sim card in the phone.
Android 10 bug fix. I deleted the secure folder and the bug stopped instantly. There is an option to move the files in the secure folder before you delete the secure folder so nothing was lost.
@@happyhomeandgardenjohndawne I'm happy you're sharing my helpful info. After I did the firmware update I was getting the android media has stopped message constantly. It didn't stop until after I uninstalled the secure folder. During the process of uninstalling the secure folder I was given the option to move the files from the secure folder and I chose to move the files. I haven't had an error since.
