    I only have the 5 nm power supply and it's plenty strong enough I'm actually going to turn it down some love the GT DD bundle first race with it I started on the pole finished 3rd then my first road course race I was ahead 22 seconds and overdrove a corner on the last lap and ended up wrecking compared to my t300 it's a game changer

      I have the 8nm boost kit and it feels like it's got 30nm on auto settings :D HAd to tune the ingame ffb strength down to 4.5-6 because you can't even turn the wheel at 10+ strength without being a body builder :D

    Thanks for sharing. Just quick question, saw on few other tutorials/settings for DD, and they suggested to turn off Linear Mode in iRacing menu. Whats does that settings do anyway?

    • @TRYRacing
      @TRYRacing  2 года назад +2

      Linear means the progression of ffb output is 1:1 with your ffb. 10% from the sim puts out 10% from your wheel. 80%=80%, 100%=100%. It squeezes the range of forces equally in to the range it's trying to output.
      Non-Linear means that the highest forces from the sim are condensed near the top so that you get more low and mid range feedback. Since the feedback of the grip from the tire is all in the low to mid range, all you're giving up is detail from the highest impact forces like curb strikes.

    Question: The in iRacing steering you have set to 1080 right , but I use 900 degrees.
    Is 1080 too brand of a turning radius?
    Like you have to turn the wheel so much further to get to 180° right, or will this allow you more control?

    • @TRYRacing
      @TRYRacing  Год назад +1

      I change it for each car. As long as when you turn the wheel it matches with what the wheel is doing in the options menu

    • @mrj3217
      @mrj3217 Год назад +1

      @TRYRacing ya I have been using this method too. It just my first time with most of these cars so I am having to establish the correct feel per car and new tracks.
