Me and my bf were so lucky to see Damien perform live in this pub exactly, this past september. It's such an experience to drive around Ireland and discover unbelievable talents by chance ☺ Amazing talent, and this singer is also awesome! i love her celtic voice
This is definitely "Fiach an Mhadra Rua" or "The Fox Hunt" Madra Rua (red dog) is used for fox in Irish but also Sionnach. Beautiful song, beautifully played! It looks like it's being performed at John Benny Moriarty's, a (somewhat) distant cousin of mine I'm sure. :)
Delightful music and singing. Reminds me of my trip to Ireland in 99. Lunasa and Karan Casey are performing near here (northern California) in two weeks and I'm thrilled. As for the stupid comments: it's sad that some trolls can't resist hate speech. Ignore it or report it and get back to the music.
@@ifjchsiwocjcjs4378 Red Dog is a fairly direct translation from our language to English to describe the common and beautiful Red Fox, Dog being 'Madra' and Red being 'Rua' in this case. 👍
Ah jasus,,,will the Irish please stop playing and singing their beautiful songs, There must be other things to do in the world,,,but when I listen to Irish music I forget what the other things are
An angel singing.
At the top of their game ❤❤
Absolute magic, the singer is outstanding.Captures the hunt.
Coming back to this one over & over again...uplifting. Lucky you are, all these musicians & singer, for being so talented & skilled.

Lovely singing!
I think that pub is "The Small Bridge" in Dingle - the dolphin is the symbol of the town from a dolphin that played in the bay for years.
Simply superb!!
wat a banjo player!! an wat a box player!
Look up Damien Mullane Kylebrack Rambler. You’re welcome.
If I may stray briefly off the topic of religion and sex, this is a fine band, and thanks poster for sharing.

Sigh...Donagh...miss him from Lunasa...sigh.....But I sure love Damien!
That's Donogh Hennessy man...he's one of the best!
@kmand0100 I think it's a version of the Mason's Apron made popular by Micho Russell.
This playing & singing, so beautiful, where can it be found?( where was this video shot)?
It looks like a pub in Dingle Town, Kerry named John Benny Moriarty's.
deadly wee group, do they play together full time or was this just a deadly session set up by the t.v. crew? brilliant tune
Daingean Ui Chuis
How many kWh to store and transport this video?
...thanks (damn kybd.)
What papyrus did you find that in? Science has been solid in the 14 billion year range for a very long time.
Anyone know the name of the tune before the song starts? Is it just an intro to the song?
a version of the Mason's Apron associated with Micho Russell
Who is the singer?
Go hiomlan uamhnach

Tá sé dochreidte chomh maith go bhfuil mhoncaí éisteacht le amhránaí agus ag trácht ar a "knockers".
Can someone translate this? Thankis.
