- El Salvador is a great Country to visit! Today I am in Santa Ana and I’m going to eat some food and do a little walking. People are just to nice in this part of the world! I am already looking forwards to a return trip to El Salvador. Small Country with a huge heart!

The building you show was the Tomas Medina school that building is cultural history of Santa Ana. That was My mother, an her brothers school in the mid 50s. Thank you for visited Santa Ana and the cathedral the best in El Salvador

Ahh you went to Santa Ana..✌️👍but You didn’t get served with the cabbage and tomato salsa is so good , you know is similar to the mexican salsa for chips that they serve in mexican’s restaurants ..Is ok still is very good without salsa y repollo.👍

I don't know if you already try, Chilate,( warm drink) on the side they put 3 side snacks: nuegados, platano, masitas. Delicious. Also yuca con chicharron is the best. And for sure pollo Campero. Yummy. Enjoy be safe. Try not use the word, "locals" when describing them, because it sounds like "locos ' .

Anyways, just want to say all Churches in El Salvador are really really old they are about 300 to 480 years old , they started to build them at the middle of the 15 century to 1600, is very interesting if you study the history , type of construction and Architectural style: Gothic Revival architecture that is Colonial Spanish also some French and Italians. The Cathedral Of Santa Ana was rebuilt in 1909 because a lightning destroyed they did a very good job they didn’t miss anything of the original model and beauty. Beside it didn’t destroy all to the ground just the halfway of the top the highs all the the bottom is been conserved is the same from 1600’s.
Very old and so Beautiful.
