This is one of the best videos about Santa Ana that I have ever seen!!! Congratulations to these two Gringos travelling to El Salvador and showing us the best places for tourists to vist in my home city of Santa Ana where I spent my childhood 30 years ago. After travelling around the world myself and visited more than 50 countries worldwide and most of all after have been living in London, England for 30 years I realized how beautiful and fantastic my country El Salvador is, especially my my hometown Santa Ana...I remember going to CERRO TECANA y CERRO SANTA LUCIA when I was in primary school climbing to the top of these two cerros (Hills) so full of tall trees and vegetation...incredibly beautiful...Coatepeque Lake and Guija Lake in Metapan, the Volcano and Cerro Verde...I dream about going back there soon...

Thank you for this video! This is where my mom is from. She has shared so many stories with me about growing up in Santa Ana. I’ve never been, but I may end up going now after watching this video! It looks so beautiful. I want to walk the streets where my mom grew up! 😢

This is my home town. The last time I went back home was in 1994. I was scared to go back home due to the violence and crime. I have a wife and children and I want them to visit my home country.

They are all slated to come down but its tough convincing the merchants

It’s what they call it. I believe it’s because they used to carry chickens on the buses to the villages
