Truly curious where this kinda 'rumor' is oriented from 🤘😜 A Finnish national epic called "Kalevala" tells of a place called "Tuonela" which can be translated/referred to "The Underworld" Valhalla(h) is part of Nordic mythology, mainly in Norwegian Epic. ....Just what I've heard what the boys chats on the hood... 😆👌

@@fatherandsonreactions I think that if you react to "The poet..." from the official Nightwish channel you will have no problems with copyrights. :-) It's my favourite song, BUT... it's really dark, it deals with hard depression and very dark thoughts... I think it's brilliant, but be prepared - it's really dark. But still beautiful.

How would I describe Nightwish? Classical music performed with metal. Often very highly atmospheric and descriptive. It can't be all heavy to give a true description of a part, and it is the various parts that produce the whole. Incidentally, it was Tarja Turunen who performed the original of this on the album Wishmaster. And what a fantastic album that is.

Nightwish is definitely the band that comes to most peoples minds when hearing the term "symphonic metal" 2 other bands that use symphonic in a bit of a different way than Nightwish are Scardust( i recommend trying "gone" as first track) Seven Spires( i recommend starting with title track of their latest album "Gods of Debauchery")

I just gently backed up. So he was swimming in about 2 ft of water. Yeah I'm good on land. We usually stay in a place with a pool. If I want to get in water .. pool will do. I'll still wade shell hunting .. but believe me I'm alert & stay shallow. When r u leaving for Florida .. memorial day week?

It's very fitting you start the channel comeback with Nightwish! Awesome! I think this was a good tune for sure. Floor, of course, knocks it out of the park. It felt like the lyrics and vocals took more of a center stage with this track, with the music acting as a kind of guide with the tale she was telling. I think I'm with you, Ethan. I do prefer the heavier stuff. Feeling "Rewarded" with the heaviness of Harvest. That is great way to put it, as that is EXACTLY what that song, and many other metal songs like it, intend for the listener. The song's meant to kind of gently lure you into its softer composition, and when the listener allows themselves to get invested into the music the song will progress more and more into something different. Sometimes it progresses into heaviness, other times into different composition styles. And by the end, the song will have to pay it off in some way (depending on the mood it's trying to convey. Maybe pay it off in a heavy and vibrant way or have the heavier part in the middle and then let it trickle back into the softer part). Unless it's an atmospheric piece, the progression and contrast of the music within the piece I think is pretty important to have for songs like this one (and Harvest). And believe me, there are quite a lot of metal songs like that, too. Moreso in genres like Post-Metal, Post-Rock (this genre has a LOT of tracks with build-up), and even progressive metal and rock. But other metal genres, and genres outside of metal, have some songs like this as well (especially classical, which a lot of metal is rooted into compositionally, and as you know... Nightwish has a LOT of classical-style music within their work). Oh boy.... Hearing you guys talk about when you might have bought the tickets, is a very relatable feeling. My sense of time has basically been warped for the past two years, it all blends together for me. lol XD Going to see Nightwish this Saturday! Looking forward to it! :D Whoa... and there you have it. Wow, you did not do the poet and the pendulum yet ;) If you do, please know it is about Tuomas his back depression after the band fired Tarja and the media, friends, fans all broke the band with awful reactions. Tuomas could t=not function anymore and his parents and friend were extremely worries. He was suicidal. His friend told him to write a song about what happened, his suffering and to kill himself in the song. Masterpiece! Often he asks the soundtech to turn off the microphone, because the lyrics are still hard for him to listen to.
I am not sure what the appeal of this band is. They seem rather derivative. Is it because they have a female vocalist? When it comes to female talent reaction channels, such as this, are totally bypassing and missing out on the talent from the BLUES genre. Because, blues, as a musical form, is heavily ignored by most, if not all, reaction channels. Yes, I know, I am tapping an empty well when it comes to finding reactions to Blues artists. My frequency of visiting reaction channels reflects this. It is disappearing at an increasing rate

I think this was a good tune for sure. Floor, of course, knocks it out of the park. It felt like the lyrics and vocals took more of a center stage with this track, with the music acting as a kind of guide with the tale she was telling.
I think I'm with you, Ethan. I do prefer the heavier stuff.
Feeling "Rewarded" with the heaviness of Harvest.
That is great way to put it, as that is EXACTLY what that song, and many other metal songs like it, intend for the listener. The song's meant to kind of gently lure you into its softer composition, and when the listener allows themselves to get invested into the music the song will progress more and more into something different. Sometimes it progresses into heaviness, other times into different composition styles. And by the end, the song will have to pay it off in some way (depending on the mood it's trying to convey. Maybe pay it off in a heavy and vibrant way or have the heavier part in the middle and then let it trickle back into the softer part). Unless it's an atmospheric piece, the progression and contrast of the music within the piece I think is pretty important to have for songs like this one (and Harvest).
And believe me, there are quite a lot of metal songs like that, too. Moreso in genres like Post-Metal, Post-Rock (this genre has a LOT of tracks with build-up), and even progressive metal and rock. But other metal genres, and genres outside of metal, have some songs like this as well (especially classical, which a lot of metal is rooted into compositionally, and as you know... Nightwish has a LOT of classical-style music within their work).
Oh boy.... Hearing you guys talk about when you might have bought the tickets, is a very relatable feeling. My sense of time has basically been warped for the past two years, it all blends together for me. lol XD

Hey, if you want to react to some havier Nightwish song, check out "Slaying The Dreamer". It's so good. There are many versions, but the version from the same concert (Buenos Aires 2018) is amazing. Also, the version with Tarja from 2005 is really great. So, if you want to react to more heavy metal Nightwish, this song is perfect!
Hi Guys I love this song. Floor had the stomach flu when Nightwish played in Finland last week. So the first show her throat was sore but the fans energy helped her make it through. You guys should react to her very first single released last month. At least 3 days before Nightwish played online Finland Floor sang a page from a phone book in the Netherlands. . Wow, you did not do the poet and the pendulum yet ;) If you do, please know it is about Tuomas his back depression after the band fired Tarja and the media, friends, fans all broke the band with awful reactions. Tuomas could t=not function anymore and his parents and friend were extremely worries. He was suicidal. His friend told him to write a song about what happened, his suffering and to kill himself in the song. Masterpiece! Often he asks the soundtech to turn off the microphone, because the lyrics are still hard for him to listen to.

I am not sure what the appeal of this band is. They seem rather derivative. Is it because they have a female vocalist? When it comes to female talent reaction channels, such as this, are totally bypassing and missing out on the talent from the BLUES genre. Because, blues, as a musical form, is heavily ignored by most, if not all, reaction channels. Yes, I know, I am tapping an empty well when it comes to finding reactions to Blues artists. My frequency of visiting reaction channels reflects this. It is disappearing at an increasing rate
