This build will eventually need some floor work, but we'll show you a quick fix to stop it if you don't have the time or money at the moment.
If you can't repair rust, try to at least stop it.

What's your typical process for adding sound deadener? I've got a pack from Kilmat that I used on the interior of my doors and I'd like to do the floors with carpet similar to what you did here. But applying the deadener directly onto the floor seemed risky because of the potential for rust and moisture.
