Thank you Tyler for this video. Very clear information. This will help me to rebuild the brakes of my 38 unstyled A
Nice tutorial, thanks for the walk through. The service manual mentions to check the end play of the shaft and to adjust accordingly, something I didn't see here. The one I have is over the .030 spec with one shim/thrust washer in place, so I have some extra shims of smaller thickness on order to dial it in.
Great video! Thanks!
What happens when brake adjusters won't move while you try to loosen the brakes before removing the assembly from the tractor??
Thanks , I own the same year A, it needs a brake job asap. Total parts cost of those kits you used @ $427 😮. Need good brakes though.
Great video
I'm kinda new to these Antique JDs. Trying to find more in on connecting hydraulics to my 46 A Slant Dash. Can't find info any where. Could you assist with a video?
We will add that to the list of suggestions. :)
please explain how to remove three bolts holding assembly in paticular the bottom bolt
It is kind of tough to get to this bolt... You would need open end 3/4" wrench and patience :)
Did you put drums on different side from were it came off? Thanks
Shoulda painted that old brake drum there son lol
To much talking
