Here’s a bit of an update on the case. The 13-year-old is still in the ICU as of four days ago. The judge refused the mother Talecka Brown bond because she phoned the father of the 13-year-old girl from jail and left him a voicemail saying the whole case would go away if the 13-year-old “didn’t show up for court”.
So she has absolutely no remorse about almost killing her child. And the girl isn’t out of the woods yet. The daughter was walking down the stairs with her back to her mother when her mother shot her. I think she was aiming for her head when she shot her because nobody aims for the neck. I hope once released from the hospital they can keep this girl in a really safe place because I think her mother poses a real threat to her life.

Add underfunded state child welfare departments, we'll keep seeing these kinds of stories. Our mental health services are almost non-existent, we've got kids and adults running around w/ a sh$t-ton of undiagnosed, much less untreated trauma and mental illnessess, living in a state who feel, like you do, no compassion/empathy when it pertains to their most vulnerable and desperate constituents, which often means minimal services, so they tap our ineffective justice system to manage this issue. Then there's the one who don't deserve compassion, instead should be 'watched' - "red-flagged" for their anti-social behaviors, like this mother. I wonder how many times the cops were called to this address prior to this incident?
i think you're confused because that's NOT the kind of situation that would ever cause someone crazy like that to be clear thinking. almost NO ONE who hasn't already been chronically & psychologically abusive just goes from 0 to 60 like that and just, out of nowhere, shoots their child.
no, her mother is a chronically abusive PSYCHO who didn't just suddenly shoot her own kid with no other history of abuse. because that's not the kind of person who has any kind of impulse control. and a huge clue is that she had NO problem telling her daughter to lie to the police - and it sounds like the daughter complied.
so other than the, horrific escalation to using a GUN on her own child, it was 'just another [crazy] Tuesday' in that household, obviously.
also, another clue is that the police noted the mother's story was inconsistent, kept changing and *once they saw the security camera footage* they realized the mother was not only possibly lying but *definitely lying* AND it became obvious had coerced her daughter to tell them a story that wasn't true.
so, no, that isn't the kind of 'mother' who has any kind of critical thinking skills. that combined with her lack of impulse control + what will surely be discovered to be a pattern of abuse, she's definitely NOT a 'parent' who would ever "reach out" for help when in distressed.

Praying that this young girl recovers… praying for her healing both physically and psychologically! 🙏🏽 I’m a former Child & Family Mental Health Health Therapist and I will tell you that these stories are really hard to see when you know what’s really going on. People are quick to call the Mom evil, narcissistic and psycho… there may be some truth to that but those labels will not help people understand how this happens. There are those parents who are getting triggered to rage by their children and they can do something about it. This Mom likely needed therapy a long time ago. The people closest to us can trigger us and that is the result of our own past negative, overwhelming or traumatic experiences. The daughter didn’t deserve this! And this Mom needs to go to prison! This message is for the person out there whose children trigger them to anger or rage… please seek therapy, now! Sending love and light for our healing! 💛☀️

@@trailrider7046 No I looked again. Just slight cracks in the sidewalk with some weed growing in between some sections. That's nothing really. Ive seen examples of that in some suburbs with millions dollar homes.
What I was paying more attention to was the condition of the two floor homes and front yards which look well kept and also automatic sanitation trash cans with recyclable cans differentiating from regular trash cans. Even my town doesn't have that and we have homes ranging upwards to five million easy and many of them aren't even two floor they're ranches. If they were to extend the house to two floor their taxes would literally double.

How anyone could shoot their own child in the back as they are walking away is impossible to understand. There is something terribly wrong with the mother. I hope the daughter heals from the gunshot wounds, and that she also gets the help needed for the emotional trauma she has suffered.

I noticed that young girl put away the trash can without being told to. That automatically makes me question the so called mother. Most kids you have to tell them to get the trashcan. I know thats a small thing but it makes me suspicious automatically.
