- “Most people can’t say that what they do on the weekends as a hobby can actually turn into a six or seven-figure business.”
How does a trader go from the New York Stock Exchange floor to selling products on Amazon from his home in Austin, TX? Mike lifts the curtain on how he uses Amazon FBA to run his successful six-figure dog collar business.
His first product on Amazon was a flop. Not letting that discourage him, however, he ultimately found his way to selling dog collars. He reveals how he found his product, how he worked with his supplier to make his product stand out, & what it has taken to make his dog collars a success on Amazon.
Currently, Mike is the Chief Marketing Officer at Jungle Scout, but he’s also an Amazon seller. This is his story. Remember to bookmark this video so you can always come back. and jump right into any section by selecting a timestamp below ⬇️

Do you sell on Amazon or thinking about starting? --Lenny
@@junglescout Hey Lenny, I currently sell on AMZ and located my 4 products thanks to JS!!
This was so encouraging and informative. Thanks for sharing.
🥰 Thank you for dropping a comment 🔥
Impressive Story
Impressive ...,
Inspired me
So inspirational. I needed this. Thank you guys! 😀
We are so pleased that you enjoyed it! 😊
@@junglescout Thank you! I'm an Amazon seller myself and a huge advocate for your amazing tool. I'm also from Austin Texas 😀. Do you have resources to help ongoing sellers with their journey? Sometimes we have so many questions and the lack of answers can lead to a lot of people giving up and dropping out of the process. The tool does a great job of giving entrepreneurs the confidence to start the process which is crucial and very much appreciated but once we start I feel like we should have a community to keep us engaged and growing. I would really love that and if you need any ideas feel free to let me know!
Hey Benjamin, yes, you can check and bookmark this link to check out our free resources: www.junglescout.com/resources/
Thanks for the story. Probably easier to start if you already have a couple M’s and failure won’t so much as dent your net worth. For those of us with 10 or 20 G’s will find it more difficult, but still should not discourage us in the big picture. Just have to start…
Congrats Michael on a great career and encouraging message. Can you post a link to your pet collar? I search Amazon and looks like there are a lot of knock offs. I want to make sure I get yours! Take Care and may you see continued success!
Hi Chris, we're so glad you enjoyed Mike's story 😀 You can find his dog collars with this link: www.amazon.com/dp/B09B91MS2Z
All that (investment banker and trader experiences, Stanford MBA, ...) to end up selling 2000 collars a year on Amazon...
If it works then why not do that? 🤷♂️
This guy is great! I'm about to start and use JS. The concern I have is if I can truly scale to leave my job and have a passive form of income. Respectfully, I don't want to continue working a full day and work on my biz "for fun" lol There are ways to scale right?
I'm watching your milliondollar case studies.
Hey! Thanks so much, glad you enjoyed the content! There's absolutely ways to scale! --Lenny
Without Brand Registry, is our only option to List Items as “GENERIC”?
Ive listed a few items and only used generic thus far.
You can certainly use "Generic", yes!
I have seen many FBA videos on RUclips and many FBA courses in Udemy where mentor have used and recommended Helium-10 as oppose to JS. I am just wondering if this is subjective to geographical location ie. US - JungleScout| Europe - Helium-10| Asia Pacific - JS etc.. with due respect to the Team JS who publishes great FBA videos - I love Lenny!!
Hey! Thanks so much, glad you enjoyed the content! 🙂 Everyone has their preferences, if you want accurate data - everyone trusts Jungle Scout! --Lenny
@@junglescout So basically, Jungle Scout give more accurate data than other! 😉
That's right! 😉
What is cabal tool? Thank you
Are you referring to Cobalt? Here's an article about it: www.junglescout.com/press/press-releases/jungle-scout-introduces-cobalt-to-help-enterprise-level-brands-win-on-amazon/
I looked it up and found out that there are many sellers of the same product.
Adding great features to make the product more unique can help to be the product of choice.
One day I will tell u my struggling story.......
