Journey Across Java | Part 3 Surabaya

After spending a week in Yogyakarta and bringing in the new year, it was time to move on for the last leg of the trip. We jumped on the 4 hour long train ride to Surabaya. I had never been to this city before and wasn't sure what to expect. It wasn't long before I found myself on the train line rocking a piece with the local writers. Over the next week I explored the city, painted plenty of graffiti, drank some cold Bin Tangs and took in all the amazing sights that Indonesia has to offer.

It’s great to see a graff vid that also feels like a travel doco. The contrast between your missions vs the things you experienced while traveling the country is perfect balance of what makes painting of overseas so enjoyable - the people, sourcing questionable tins, the effort of getting up all while enjoying a new destination.
