@@The0320AngelaThe "Developing a game inspired by The Noise" is still in thee Twitter bio. Pizza Tower isn't particularly unfamiliar with leaks and atp I feel Tour de Pizza is upset but knows can't do much.
One of my favourite things about this update is all the changes that make the game easier. All the bosses are easier, you can’t even refight the Doise without taunting 3 times on his door, Noise can skip half of RRF and in Golf if you go over par, Noise will change the score so you always get a Primo Burg. This entire campaign is shown at the end to be a movie recreation of Pizza Tower with Noise in the spotlight, and since he’s the main character, the game is made easier because this is a movie, and the main character can’t lose (for the most part). Noise is literally rewriting some of the events of the stages in the game just to paint himself in a positive light as the star of the show. Really reminds me of Johnny from Guilty Gear and how his theme, Just Lean, is literally just a song that sings his praises and paints him in as cool of a light as possible.
I love how (Just like peppino) He’s got a very good personality, he’s a goofy bugs-bunny like character with not a single care in the world about other people (except his wife and his noisy) Also you forgot to mention, it was all a play directed by the noise! (And Doise was a liability he had to pay for due to Doise probably dying on stage and getting sued for it)
if there’s something I’d change it’s implementing a system that swaps between noise/peppino’s story in swap mode depending on who you choose first on the save file
I would like that too if it weren't for the fact that the Noise would be fighting the Noise and the noisey and Noisette would be stuck in the tower while it's crumbling
@@orangeiris64 swap mode is a secret mode to begin with and pizza tower never had a complex story. they can get away with breaking the rules a bit Noise’s campaign is a movie that’s a exaggerated biased retelling of the events of the game from his perspective made after the tower fell anyways and it already features multiple Noises
1:45 Actually when you just starts to mach running you can already preform the Noise tornado. It's basically an side-graded Peppino's dive. Also i found out that when you press grab while exiting the Noise tornado you begin to „roll" at mach 3.
Honestly i think it's way worse than peppinos dive, peppino keeps momentum with the dive, noise slams his head into whatever you tried to go under after you try to dive.
@@aarepelaa1142 That’s because Peppino’s moveset was designed to speed through horizontally, whereas the Noise breezes up the vertical heights instead of climbing on the walls easily.
I view noise as more of an achievement character, as a lot of the hard parts of some levels that net you an achievement (eg primo burgs). This also applies to transformations, like mort, knight and the rocket. They all make their respectful sections easier. Even whole levels are tweaked, like refrigerator-refrigerador-freezerator giving you the ability earlier.
Here’s one thing you left out: if you keep racking up the hit point in golf, the noise will change the score, so it’s impossible to get hot dog, tasty nachos, and nothing. You can only get primo burg which I find funny
The vigilante fight is extremely cheesable due to the bombs, since he always resets to the right of the screen you can prethrow a bomb there while he slides back after taking damage instantly hitting him while you throw a second bomb and cutting a piece of health resetting the scenario
If pizza tower gets a third major update, i think it would be cool if while playing as the noise peppino appears in the peppino mech from his house during the first phase of the pizza face boss, destroys pizza face then we get an unique final fight that makes use of all the noises abilities
There’s also a thing where if you get I think 95% under 4 hours you can get another rating better than I take credit of course, I don’t remember the other requirements
4:50 Using the crusher alongside the wall bounce is also a consistent way to go up during pizza time I'm surprised you never actually mentioned that the noise can fly indefinitely with the crusher
some things this video missed: the unused Heat Meter TV Screen for Peppino gets reused for when you get a combo of 50 the combo ghost was changed from changing colors randomly, to being purple when the combo is eligible for a P-Rank, and yellow for when it’s not The Noise will always get a Primo Burg in GOLF, no matter how many times you hit Greaseball
funny thing i found out: when using transformation giver to play as gustavo and brick in a noise save file, i figured out when i press double jump it plays the noises crusher animation and turns you into the noise, so i guess the code for the crusher jump is literally just gustavo's double jump
They went above and beyond with the update, giving players a reason to re-experience the game in a new way. I don't believe this game needs any other major updates, if they felt ambitious to include a level editor (preferably with Steam Workshop integration) that would be the cherry on top. But certainly not necessary, the game already felt complete on release. This update was just a love letter to the fans.
Something else about Vigilante: You can really easily cheese (hah) him by throwing a bomb where he’s sliding him to after you hit him. You can keep chucking bombs at him before he even gets a chance to attack. Makes P ranking him pretty easy.
I don't think noise is drinking something bad, I think it's just simple hot cocoa, mainly because inside the level, hot cocoa is literally the rocket that Peppino uses.
The vigilante is surprisingly easy as hell as Noise because you can set up two bombs for as soon as his invinvibility ends, dealing damage before he can even move an inch. If you do it fast enough you can clear the entire first half before the first grandpa cheese even attempts to throw off your rhythm
One small correction: In Golf, the Noise will change the par value to be one higher than your current stroke count, so you cannot get anything under a Primo Burg'.
I think you didn't mention the boss fights are made more difficult in general as well. With way more of that random shit like falling statues in the pepperman fight and I'm pretty sure he's also just faster in general.
You forgot one difference in golf. When you exceed the limit for primo burg, noise adds one to the counter. So the only result you can get is a primo burg, even if you made 100 shots.
Fun fact! Deep dish 9 was made exclusively for playable noise, back when he had that pogo moveset, you can tell how the rockets and olive bubbles mirror his superjump and jetpack from that moveset respectively
wasn't Deep dish 9 made way after the co-op buid? (the one that brought skateboard noise as a way to keep both players on the same highground without advantages or disavantages for old co-op)
@@heitorsant1759 that was more of a sneak peek of what they've worked on so far that year (including deep dish 9 and a masion rework) but if it isn't the video i'm thinking about could you send a link of the video?
Personally I find the Vigilante WAY easier. He was single handed the WORST boss to P rank with Peppino (at least for me, aside from the final boss). If you time your throws right with the Noise, you can actually stun lock the Vigilante and basically never allow him to attack. For some reason when bosses get hit with two bombs at the same time, they take both instances of damage instead of a single instance, meaning you can constantly force the Vigilante to be knocked around. The timing is kinda tight and it isn't easy but i'll take that over dodging all of his bs attacks any day.
