Hey man just stumbled across your channel and I really enjoy it. I’m thinking of taking a trip to the red river gorge, which of the creeks would you think would give me my best chance at a brookie?
Brook trout in there are very tough. I’ve caught a handful, but there’s really no creek that seems to hold them over. Best shot is to find them after they’ve freshly stocked
I remember reading somewhere they used the walleye from the Rockcastle river as brood stock to reintroduce walleye to waters they had been historically.

Have you fished clear creek near Pineville?

Tough conditions! Ever fish Rockcastle?
No I haven’t , I’ve done a little looking at that river but never been down there
@@606OnTheFly fished it growing up nice smallmouth and a few good walleye as well.
