Video is soo helpful. Even my dream is to get employed at Goldman from IIM since I passed 10th std. Though I'm still in FYBFM I see myself oneday working at Goldman.
These IIM make a close connection with elite banking companies and try to cover the vacancy with their own students , you know what a guy from rural area is far more eligible and potential to get a high valued placement I believe I will write a note to these elite company so that they can pick students and give them the opportunity to work and explore
All businesses optimize for costs. It is much cheaper to hire from an IIM than to sieve through the country for talent. The company is outsourcing most of the filtering to the college.

@@sjflow4313 even pursuing mba finance in top b schools is not a sure shot job. As in between the creme(scholar students) u need to be in top 10-15 in a batch of 150. Or else u will end with a job of a startup company with max 6lakhs per annum which a cfa level 1 candidate gets in internship. So choose wisely MBA - 2yrs +25 lakhs investing OUTCOME - 6 lakhs on avg. Salary OR CFA- 3-4yrs + 4 lakhs. Investment Outcome - 14 -16 lakhs avg. Salary For that 2 yrs experience thing u can apply as an intern in some firms after clearing cfa level1. In due time you will have completed 2 yrs of experience before level 3.

Buil ur soft skill and get some skills in the field u wanna go.... If you do all this in you organised way...it's a sure way to be in IIM as a fresher...good luck 🙏

One thing he did not mention is that your school matters. If you are not from IIM, FMS, IIT, ISB, Bits etc., chances are very slim to enter IB.
