Another great video Matt. Scarlett is BEAUTIFUL and it’s good to see your schedule allows for you to spend quality time with her. Time does fly and she’ll be crawling then running in no time! Hard to say just yet which one of you she looks more like☺️ Watched the Tulu video when you rolled it out. Incredible story & I couldn’t help but compare your two completely different paths. Proves there is more than one way to get it done, but mindset is the key ingredient. My 16 year old who plays on an ECNL team with D1 aspirations was locked in on the entire interview. Bought the Game Fit Training program & she will be starting it April 1st👍🏽💪🏽 Keep up the excellent work, appreciate how much you continue to get after it!
Really want to see a pod with you and mimi, and how it’s been becoming parents and managing roles as well as parenting as matt is away at game days! would be great to see that side of your life if it’s not too intrusive to ask. :)
Great to see another video. You should do a video on how to balance how you workout. Such as how to balance, strength, power, agility, flexibility, and, plyometrics
I'd love this. Recently I've been trying to figure out how to improve my athleticism and explosiveness, and it'd be wonderful if Matt made a video with a routine to follow
Hey Matt. I got to see you play in Hartford this past weekend. Tough loss but I felt the game was fairly even with a slight advantage for Hartford. Just needed to finish on some opportunities and the game would have been ours. You personally played really well. Their main striker barely got a hold of the ball and you kept him in check. Good to have you on the Hartford Team and I look forward to seeing you next Saturday. Don't worry the crowd will get larger as the temperature increases.
I find it awesome for Matt. I hope he can anaylsize how players fall off so fast even at the highest levels. Like Eden Hazard vs Luka Modric. What a weird path for pros. Good luck matt..
Hi Matt - Long time subscriber and follower of your channel. Quick question: When you have a bad game (nothing goes right for you, you make poor decisions, you fail to execute on plays etc), how do you bounce back/react immediately after the game, in the next 24 hours and perhaps under a weeks timeframe (basically at what point do you stop thinking about it and focus on the next game or training). Alternatively, does a bad game performance linger in your head as you approach the next matchday? Finally, how do you sift through stuff that you could improve on vs taking in the fact that perhaps certain things are out of your control and also identifying weaknesses in your own game that perhaps need to be focused on during your own training sessions etc. Recently I've been struggling with my own performances and I'm trying to find a healthy balance between fixating on my weaknesses and improving as well as reminding myself that perhaps I'm in a rough patch, I need to mentally bounce back because negative thoughts lead to negative performances leading to a cycle :)
Good question. I'm not Matt but I will say when mistakes happen, don't dwell on them and just move on. Try to forget about them if they happen during a game, but also try to analyze why the mistake happened and what can be done to improve/avoid it in the future. Hope this helps. Would like to hear what Matt thinks as well.
It's okay to express frustration right when it happens, but don't let it weigh you down. Coaches will appreciate the passion, but they will also appreciate a good response. Don't be upset for too long, just move on ✌️
Similar to the injury prevention, I would like to see what exercises you do in terms of movement /stretching /yoga/pilates/resistance band - that kind of field.
hello mate. Can you give me some advice on whether I eat properly, I train football and I'm 13 years old, I train regularly. I wake up at 5:30, I do mobility workout for 15 minutes and sit-ups, I don't eat breakfast in the morning, more precisely I eat breakfast at school I eat 2 boiled eggs with honey and bananas and apples or any other fruit. When I get home, I eat honey and bread, but today, for example, as a snack before training, and when I get back, toast with avocado. And my question is, can you make it? a video on how a young football player should eat and how he should train. Since I also train individually. I watch training sessions from your friend 7Mcl.
Hi master chef Matt, can you tell me the name of the cake in 14:45 again? I don't know how to write it 😅 And you give us another awesome video again. So happy to see your happy family. Please keep it up ❤
Just came across your videos! Really well done and informative. Question from this video - why does your team have you wear a specific outfit when you're at the hotel? Very curious
Hi Matt I’m a 17 year old aspiring pro I just want to know how often can I have some cheat snacks and meals? I watched your video from a few years ago on this topic but it felt a bit unrealistic & very strict compared to what other footballers at my age do. Please respond there’s not really much discussion on this.
Matt you better be starting project Alex Morgan with your daughter! We need someone to be next up and takeover Become Elite when you’ll be done! Haha just kidding! Awesome video and enjoy this time with your family and daughter, trust me, they are at their best at that age, it doesn’t get any better from here 😅
How is the elevation change effects in CS? I know for Denver sports away teams usually have to prepare but wondering if it’s any different for Colorado Springs!
Hi Matt Sheldon, how are you? im very good My Name is Ricardo im 15 years old My Dream is to reach Pro and do it for living and im doing my Team Training and extra training outside of the pitch, i started to know you because my brother watches you and i started to watch you too i've learned and still learning watching your videos and i just wanna say your the Best thank you and thank you for inspiring me and others watching you is making me believe even more and more making my dream come true you amazing, continue never stop don't listen to the people that are trying to block you so you don't become a better you, keep moving foward Never Stop i love you and all love for your family Never Change fight for your dreams and don't forget got to the next level become better become... a Elite! 💪❤
it is really difficult to play 1st tier/level football in any country. The biggest issue with Matt is that he is already 30 years old. He's not some young player that a MLS team will take a chance on to see if he will be any decent. Matt is also not a proven player who has played either in Europe or even in MLS already. MLS itself is also a salary capped league, so teams are incentivized to buy young flashy attacking players (mostly South Americans) that they can sell for money over aging defenders. Matt (at this moment in time) does not really fit the team building strategies for MLS teams for reasons stated before.
Can you go through what injury prevention looks like and what you do when recovering from an injury
Search his older videos he goes pretty thorough in them
Injury prevention is a scam you'll still get injured it makes you more injury prone infact.
@@escoclipse14 Alright thanks

Good to see another good video Matt, always inspiring me to keep training and pursuing football.

Hi matt, I'm 14 and I play football, is it better for me to lift weights or train bodyweight
I need a pair of football boots for a defensive minded left back who mostly relies on strength, acceleration, and tackling.
Matt the Ogs remember those boots 😏
Shit I thought that was gilfyi Sigurdsson in the thumbnail but it's Matt Sheldon!

Why aren’t you playing in mls ?
