@@JasonWhitakerTheDIYDAD thanks for getting back with me. I did but the double dark fert and seeing some difference just been five days. Our temps here in Va. Have been all over the place. 97 one high 70 today smh lol. Will purchase some stress blend. ONE ? Our lawns do brown out in summer but this is my first time really doing anything. I have kept up with me watering and cutting 3 times a week while it is still growing. Any advise for this lady would be great! Thanks in advance. Keep up the great work.

I did a video on summer lawn tips that should help you out. Cut the grass once a week now that we are in summer. Mow a little higher, like one notch higher. Apply Stress Blend and water an inch to an inch and half per week. Your grass will stay green all summer for everyone to envy. I will keep posting videos! You should also start thinking about your over seeding that we will do in August to September time frame. I will talk more about that in July.

Just trying to understand your situation. Your soil test showed low nitrogen levels in your lawn. You also said parts of your lawn have high nitrogen. Trying to understand why parts of your lawn have low and parts of are high. This is a great fert for summer where you dont want alot of nitorgen. The pot ash or potassium will help it handle the summer heat. Let me know the answers above and i can give some recommendations to follow the rest of the year. @@dawndue6503 we are in the time where temps are creeping up. Use the stress blend front, side , and back yard through the end of August. For the side and front you may want to give it a little extra love with a liquid fertilizer once a month till September. Something like a 18-0-1 from green county, nxt brand. End of August, you want to do your overseed for the entire yard. Then you will be applying a starter fert. By Oct sometime you will apply a final fertilizer to sustain till next spring. Something will a little more kick in the nitrogen area. Too much nitrogen on the grass when its hot will stress the grass too much. Hope this helps!
