I only got here because Springsteen on his show today called this one of the greatest bands of the '80s. I went to college in LA in the '80s. I thought I knew at least a little about that music. What universe was I in?!? This band rocks!
IC100!S!, looks like the PL50 Speakers, and of all things a Drawmer DS201 noise gate. How does he get that sound? The sustain switch is taped in the off position so he's getting the overdrive from the power amp, must have the speakers wire for high impedance, 16 ohm for 55W or maybe even less, the store was meant to give you the option of wiring when you bought one, contrary to popular belief the 100W was only into a 6 ohm load and I'd say his is either 16 ohm, or maybe even 32 ohm.
I saw many concerts BITD but I have to say the SBM at The Ritz in NYC was the best ever. So f-ing tight. There's a bootleg of their Boston show on youtube which is basically the show that I saw.
