I always like it whenever the old American soundtrack gets acknowledged alongside the original Japanese score.
IMO To me "Day of fate" symbolizes the innocent heart of Gohan being lost like his childhood is gone. "Gohans Anger" Tho is the next step in evolution , The Phoenix that rises from the ashes. The saiyan warrior inside Gohan.
Id probably put it the other way around myself.
Gohans Anger as the buildup and break, and then post break, WHAM day of fate.
@@supervegito2277 hey man to each their own either way this scene is good. The only reason imo its like this is just because when Gohan goes into saiyan mode he's no longer his innocent self like the bird that flies away.

That's an interesting take. I like it. It reminds me of the "men who wanted to be left alone" text. It's author is disputed, or generally just unknown. Here's the text of the quote:

Classic funimation soundtrack was fucking amazing I don’t understand why everyone hates it. Yes it had a lot of lows mostly in terms of general background noise but themes like Heroic Trunks, Vegeta SSJ, SSJ Transformation, Gohan fights Frieza, Gohan Angers, SSJ3, Perfect Cell, Frieza’s Death, Super Namek, Frieza Begs and so many more absolutely make the scenes 10x better for me. This is all coming from someone new to the series who only began watching it 4 years ago I would have had a much worse time if it was Kai personally.
2:40 the most epic buildup to the most epic payoff. Literally the best of Gohans Anger
