- Some of you requested I do Gohan Angers- I've heard so many great covers of it and wasn't sure how to make any improvement but I decided to make it anyway and I'm really happy with how it came out. I also wanted to represent his growth in the series so I did some artwork that showed him in all his forms. Enjoy!

Growing up with Gohan like a brother we never have and always ready for a fight
I grew up weak. I grew up small. I grew up with Gohan. Thank you for giving me bursts of confidence Toriyama, that everyone has the potential to be a hero. Rest in peace. We will always remember you.
You are who you choose to be. Violence is everywhere, but those who fight to preserve and protect are heroes. Your soul has always been in the right place, as was Gohan's. Be safe and well Kanyon, lighthouse of truth.
Toriyama sensei was very much a normal man, and he gave us so much as he walked the path. Insight, perspective, and MOST of all, the potency of determination. It doesn't matter if you defeat the enemy in one final flash, what's important is the fact that we stood up to them in the first place.
For without that courage and determination, there is no victory, you must take that first step in order to walk the long journey. The heroes in Dragon Ball were men who never gave up. They kept going whether it was a simple Tuesday or the end of the world... they gave it their all. They CHOSE to, and they walked that path they elected.
Be well my friend.
After Akira died, I no longer felt motivated to do anything anymore. Even though I never met him, he felt like family to me, and his characters would always give me strength, happiness, courage and an inspiration that I’ll never forget. On the day I found out Akira died, I wanted to curl up and die so I could see him in the land of the kais. I didn’t want to do anything, and I was left with shock and sadness as I’m sure we all did. With Akira gone, I felt like i had no more purpose in life, and that with my only inspiration gone, that I had nothing else left to lose. Mind you, I also found out about his death on my birthday too.
To see what an impact he had on everyone even after his death brought me to tears. I then decided to watch every single Akira Toriyama tribute that i could find, and every night I would lie in bed questioning life and crying about Akira’s death.
I don’t know you, but I can really relate to your feelings here. Akira Toriyama and his character’s formed my whole life, and he will continue to inspire others in the future through all his art and stories. Thank you for your comment Kanyon, I needed to see this.
R.I.P Akira Toriyama, may he enjoy the rest of his time living on in the land of the kais and in our hearts.

The more I think about this theme, the more perfect for Gohan it is. It is gentle, melancholic and that gives way to danger and power.
Yes! There’s pureness, emotion, but sadness that could turn to anger if pushed too far but it always remains characteristic of Gohan 🎵

Gohan’s emotions are his strength, and be thankful he keeps such a tight control over them, otherwise no words can describe the damage done by an out of control Gohan.

Nahh, this theme only suits the gohan which holded back against his enemies, whom everyone wanted to let go and unleash his power and fury and that's only Ssj2 gohan
Beast Gohan is a totally different person he doesn't holds back like his younger self he unleashes his power without any 2nd thought.....

This would suit Gohan due to emotional transformation.

Its been over 20 years since i saw the SSJ2 transformation that Gohan pulled off against Cell. The way they showed the raw emotion Gohan had after he exploded with anger WITH this song playing sent chills down my spine and brought a tear to my eye. Now, 36 years old, it still does the same to this day. Thanks for bringing the fire!!!

could not have said it better. Well in my 30s and I still get emotional during that scene. The soundtrack makes it even better. Then again, Gohan has been and always will be my favorite character of the franchise even though they did him dirty at the end.
The tears floating in his aura was the icing on the cake for me. Some anger moves you to tears, and it is usually a righteous anger at an injustice. Something you just can't let stand.

If there's one thing I love about Gohan its his willingness to fight for the greater good. He doesn't like fighting but if there's a bad guy hurt8ng people you bet he's gonna power up and stop them
That's what we all like about gohan. Unlike Goku who just loves to fight most of the time.

Wow, that center image of Gohan looks the version of him that *could* have existed in the Buu saga, had he continued to train and take his new role as guardian of the earth seriously...
All of these OSTs hit so much harder after Toriyama passed away. May he rest in peace for raising many people to who we are today. Without him, lots of it wouldn’t be here.

Since 2010 I have desperately wanted a QUALITY remix of one of Gohan's Themes and never got it. And with Dragon Ball Super coming and making me lose interest in Dragon Ball and push me to kinda hate what the series became. But 3:41 came along and goosebumps shredded though my skin and made me love the series all over again; a decade and some years later and I finally got that Gohan Theme I've been waiting for!!

There’s just SO MUCH heart in the Dragon Ball story and it is the music that communicates that heart. I’m so happy that you were able to find my version of this theme and that it spoke to you the way it did :)
This is an amazing remix of the SSJ2 Gohan theme. I like how you have Gohan shown in his SSJ2, SSJ Mystic, and SSJ Blanco (Gohan Beast) forms. You should do the theme for 16, 17 and 18 next.

The thing this song 100% needed was a sick drop. To me it always felt like it was building and building for it but it never came. I'm so happy this song exists because it finally gives that release to the buildup

love the gohan fights frieza theme. I always found it silly that was the name of the track and that it was never actually used in the frieza saga lol. Best usage of the song was hands down when gohan kicked the shit out of the cell jrs, amazing scene.

Yeah I believe that it may have been used for the original broadcast either when Gohan beat the hell out of Frieza in his 2nd form, or when he returned after Frieza tried to destroy namek and Goku had been forced underground for an episode. I feel like I saw it on TV when I was a kid but it could just be some kind of mandela effect haha. However, we do know that when funimation did their countless remasters they changed the placing of a lot of the Faulconer music.
Gohan destroying the Cell jrs is definitely the definitive moment for Gohan fights Frieza tho and it was awesome :D I will be doing a version of it by itself soon! Thank you very much man! Glad you made it here!

Gohan is my favorite character but i feel like he could have become an incredible villain.
Every time he pushed beyond his limits wasn't because he wanted too or was trying too, it was literally his mind breaking and his anger causing him to snap.
that could have been a great story about him snapping one of those times and just seeing everything as a target friend and foe alike, and just staying that way

Interesting point! He could have gone down that path in the future but there’s a real pureness to Gohan that probably prevents that darkness from seeping in

All i wish was that we got to see gohans progression to beast similar to how goku and Vegeta had a moment in the anime where they clashed and saw a small hint of super Saiyan blue but unfortunately they just decided to give Gohan the form and have us look deep to find out how the form is achieved. Either way its too late now all i can day is at least my boy gohan is back in form, let's just hope that he continues training consistently it doesn't have to be him training as hard as goku and Vegeta since he still wants to be a scholar.
