I've got both electric and hard copies. The electric is hard to use locate what you want. It doesn't mention using grease on slide pins. But between the two can normally get what I want. Feel older Hynes books were better but now Utube helps.

What about the copper grease?

The recommendation to apply grease to the pad backing plates varies from manufacturer-to-manufacturer. The instructions shown here reflect the recommendations from Ford.

The pads have shims on the back so no need for copper grease
