Who am I:
I’m Tom, a Open University student studying Computing & IT. I make videos about my time with Open University covering my modules and other tips I have for other students. If you have any questions about the Open University or studying in general then feel free to ask!
Hey, thanks a lot for the videos! I would like to ask you something. Have you considered to move during the course to a brick university? Do you believe it would be widely accepted the credits from OU? I was thinking in getting 120 credits at OU and then apply somewhere else. Thanks!
I haven’t considered it so I haven’t looked in to it. My advice would be to get in contact with OU and the other university you are wanting to study at. I haven’t heard much of people moving universities during a degree, I’m sure it’s been done but not sure how it works.
I thought TMAs were essays with bibliographies at the end.
They could be for some modules and course however from my experience they’ve mostly consisted of answering questions, practical activities with the occasionally essay/report as well
I've just finished my History degree, and my TMAs have always included in text referencing, along with a bibliography at the end. It is important to cite your sources, to avoid allegations of plagiarism.
Do you think the cisco module is good enough to pass the cisco CCNA afterwards?
I submitted a TMA one minute after the cut off time would it get marked down do you think?
Great video on tma’s
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it!
So all TMA questions are available at the start of the module ?
Yes
