Here's a refined version of your comment: Thank you so much for all your videos. As an Open University student from abroad (living in Portugal), your videos have been incredibly helpful. By the way, there are unique challenges when a student lives outside the UK or English isn't their first language. Perhaps you could address these challenges in one of your videos.
we are both enrolled in TM470. I just read ur post in the forums about how do u want to base ur final project into let´s say a "personal" webpage (dont wanna spoil anything about what ur future plans are)! good luck with TM470 we r both in! :)
Hi Tom, I have just finished TM255 and TM254 I find out on July 20th if I have passed them and if I have I am going to be doing TM352 Web, Mobile and Cloud Technologies which sounds interesting and the other one that I am doing will be TM356 User Interaction Design and User Experience. Do you know anything about TM356 if you do please let me know. thank you.
Hi Tom, thank you for your reply I am also doing TM352 can you give me any suggestions on what I can do to prepare for the module. which starts in october
Hi Tom, hope you are well. How have you found the course materials for your course? Are they accessible? Also are there online live lectures fir your course? Or CD rom lectures? In terms of learning the content.
Hi, Im just going to start the Computing and It HND with the OU but I dont know which route choose between broad, communications and networking, Communications and Software or just Software. Im a bit lost, thanks
Well the best way to decide might be to have a look at what career you want afterwards and then choose the appropriate path. If there isn't one, then you might be better off choosing broad to cover a bit of everything
Hi Tom, I was a law student. Have passed the bar exam. Say I got the licence, would this degree in math and physics help get me into the legal practice of blockchain and crypto, and even the space law possibly in the future?
For me, year 2 wasn't that much more intense than year 1, year 3 on the otherhand has been. You could do it full time if you prepare in advance for it and be prepared for that final module that is based on another year 3 module. I would have probably have used the full 40+ hours of study time for the four modules had I done all 4 at the same time
Hello Tom! Love your channel and tips! How did it go? I will be starting my study at Open University in October - Computing & IT and Business - TM111. I did create a channel where I will be uploading a videos about tips and stuff that I will be going trough! Thank you for the inspiration! Tim

Also do you currently have a job lined up in IT for when you graduate , what sort of role is it you would like to find employment in? Cheers for the video !
Hey Kevin, I haven't recently, I've had the odd part time job at points. I don't have a job lined up yet but I am actively looking for one, preferbly in front-end development Thanks for watching, hopefully it helped!

Hi, I'm sorry but I don't know, that's something you'd have to research or ask someone who is in that profession already
@@TomWagstaff i see. Thank you Tom!
how have you found studying full time for year 2 and 3. I'm considering it as I would rather finish the degree earlier but not sure on the work load.
