Steve was the best character, they made a big mistake killing him off!
Billy was a completely different character those days. Talk about development. He looks like he hasn’t aged a day since then too

Steve bullying Billy was always funny. The ‘food chain’ with Billy bullying Jamie (before Jamie put him in his place), and Steve, Phil and Dan bullying Billy (though Steve the most), was interesting.
Yeah, it was a great feud between the 5 of them!
@@RandomUploads-ch3bh I really loved the Phil vs. Steve vs. Dan ‘triangular’ rivalry, part of golden year all round in 2001. Also in those days in wasn’t always guaranteed that Phil would win, he could win or lose, which made it more interesting.
@@Gizo02 Completely agreed. I'd say Billy, Jamie and a couple of others play an integral part of that 'triangular rivalry' though. What are your favourite moments from that storyline/feud?
@@RandomUploads-ch3bh it’s tough one. I’m not anti-Phil (I become anti ‘Phil has to always win’ from his 2005 return onwards) and think that Steve McFadden is an incredible actor. But Dan knocking him out, tying him up, taunting him, making him show that he was scared of dying, and fleeing with his money was pretty great.
In some ways I didn’t want Dan to return as his ending was perfect. And Steve is probably still my favourite ever Eastenders character. Everything he did, seemed ‘cooler’ simply because he was doing it !

I loved it when Billy kept winding up Steve over drugs. Love the bit when Steve begs him to get drugs.

As much as I liked Steve, he treated billy like utter shit. And Billy always used to idolise him in a sense even though Steve treated him like crap it’s quite pathetic that Billy never stood up for himself against Steve LOL

Den got shot, plenty of people have survived gunshots. Steve on the other hand was caught in the middle of an explosion which is impossible to survive.

Steve was a psycho, once he was off the drugs and back to his normal self Billy was scared of Steve and what he was capable of

I heard from a few people that Billy did punch Steve at some point, though when it happened, I can't say. Other alleged fights I've heard about are Jamie Mitchell punching Ricky Butcher, among others.
Yh I've heard several people claim both of those, also that Gus punched Garry. Do you know if Beppe and Paul really had a punch up?
