Haha all those battery connectors 😂 I can’t believe that motor didn’t fry. Although Traxxas motors are not bad it’s their esc that I always have problems with
I tried burning that little motor with very high gearing and I couldn't do it. But it was with the stock 2s ESC. I couldn't get the stock ESC to thermal either after installing the 3s fan and shroud on it either. I did go to a 3s quickrun on my Rustler 4x4 after that, but I was impressed with the durability of the 2s system. I went 3s for more speed and punch. I did put a fan on top of the motor. So much drama over an RC 😂
@NoodlesNJ1 temps were good it has that built in fan but its .much faster.with my Hobbywing motor so that's going back but it was a good test I think now we know it can handle it just fine that's with a larger spur so it's a little bit more strain on it.
I have a question, you put a 4100kv motor in the Mini Maxx. How fast was it on 2s (if you ran it on that) and what pinion gear did you use? I put a 4100kv Hobbywing EZ-Run motor in mine with a 22 tooth pinion. Unfortunately the weather isn’t cooperating well in Michigan. Thank you in advance
I never ran it on 2s so I dont know what speed. I have a 50 tooth spur and the factory pinion so you should be running faster because of my spur being larger.
@RC-Closer1313 yup it took it nice but with the same gears on the Hobby wing motor it went way faster more torque too. I thought it was a good experiment to see if it could be done and wow the little motor did it
Clark Griswald battery adapters, nicely done 👌
lol
Great test! With how cool the motor runs stock, I was thinking it would handle the power. Keep the content coming.
Thank you very much more to come
What a ripper 😎
Such runtime from those small lipos too 😎
I’m going to take u up on the diff upgrade as soon as the stock ones strip. Great video buddy 👍👍

I just got an xmaxx and slapped a max6 g2 in even before I ran the truck However I hope I don’t fall victim of the coging issue.
I thought it was good for a laugh I was worried about the small wires burning up of the fan getting damaged but it took the power just fine
Man, you have made that little truck a great little truck… Traxxas should listen to the advice you have…
@RC-Closer1313 they will never listen to me lol

I have too get this to complete my maxx collection
Heat sink & fan should be good for long term use

With them temps you could gear it up if you so choose…

The bs. I mean bl-2s
